Hi people, how are you guys doing this week?

I've been working on over 300 modular models for the first set of the buildings and only 1 set did make into the engine due to the deadline. Even this first set isn't 100% done and I wish I could work faster than what I am right now.
But anyway I've at least imported the first set (type C building) into the engine and worked on the shader, here pls take a look at in-game engine models.

Everything about these buildings are just a mashed up of the models I've just done so far and it's not the game ready because there is no system in these buildings currently. The assets are also too few to create an outpost/a factory and I think I need more time to design/model more assets. I hope those look good tho.

What's so important to these buildings?
Some people may wonder why I'm spending a lot of time creating the very things that are so uninteresting and think I should focus on gameplay instead. Actually, the buildings in OGZ will have a lot of gameplay mechanics and most importantly I need a few more tools and one of that is a 'building generator tool' that will procedurally create an entire building in a few seconds with automatically generating item/enemy/objective spawn points and interactions which will increase the development speed by a lot. The building tool will not only increase the development speed but also will give a lot of potentials for the new gameplay and contents, I think it's gonna be a big worth once it's done.

What is OGZ actually about?
Actually OGZ will have a lot of game modes especially after postlaunch updates.
Each mode will be unique but the first officially mode is gonna be the 'Mercenary Mode' where players will create their own custom characters as a mercenary and survive the S101 crisis alone or with other mercs. Players will have freedom to do everything from joining corporations, doing jobs for them and getting the rewards by succeeding the tasks to becoming a hostile to all of the corporations and escaping from the battleground with empty hand.
Players will versus with other mercs who are outside of a corporation players are working for.
Players will have to face other mercs during the mission most of the time and players will have to survive the outbreak and its terrifying monsters outside of mission.
Doing job for corporations will earn Reputation Point (RP) with the current corporation players are part with but will reduce RP to rival corporations or corporations players used to work with.
Earning RP will give access to the exclusive stores and supports from corporations but RP isn't important if players aren't working for anyone but themselves.
The goals of Mercenary mode are about your characters leaving S101 alive with the helps of corporations, government or by yourself.
This mode will not feature story and it'll be purely about the gameplay, the lore will have a big role for this mode.
Mission in mercenary mode will be procedurally generated which will be infinite but this is gonna be the best way to farm the items to buy more gears/weapons or the materials to upgrade the weapons/equipment.

I'm sorry, this time I don't really have enough time to draw because the massive amount of modular models I need to finish and even now there are 4 sets of modular models and only 1 set is in the game and it's not 100% done.

That's it for today, I hope you guys enjoy stuff I've done so far and see you soon next post. Have a nice day.
