...is who would be appearing, but EVO's been cancelled due to a pile up of a whole bunch of shit at once. Oh well, here's a different kind of Pringles, it's Prinz Eugen from Kantai Collection!

No, not the one from Azur Lane, though I did sneak in her in one of the previews for Claire which no one really seemed to have noticed. I was actually gonna release her a lot earlier but uh, ran into a few snags here n' there. 

So this card's pretty old, heck I think this contains elements from an old ass card that was made roughly after launch of the original game. Ever since then it's seen sporadic updates before I actually sat down to take a real good look at it. Usually, I'd just try my best to emulate the original art the best I could, but uh, have you seen the original art for her? Apparently, the dude behind all the characters of Girls Und Panzer worked on her, which may not be true and I hope it isn't because wow  is it not great. 

Now I ain't in the best position to throw stones here, but I got the feeling if I just Ctrl+C Ctrl+V'd it, it would look awful. Maybe if you actually played the game, the artstyle would be totally fine in yer eyes but like a lot of things, my first time seeing her was through fanart. So I had an entirely different idea of what she looked like due to that. 

Due to the nature of fanworks, it's tricky trying to figure out which one(s) to use as a reference. Or in this case, trying to do that without even consulting the original art as you can see in the second preview pic. The Pringles on the left was the one I snuck in earlier, the one on the right is what it's in the Mega link. Quite the difference, eh? Instead of outright abandoning the original artwork, I broke it down to see what elements fan artists took from it rather than just copying directly from them without even knowing what they were referencing. 

Hair and face aside tho, a lot of the outfits were taken from different cards. Specifically speaking, this is a fusion of several cards I found on the boorus and Pixiv. Her gym outfit is a German soccer uniform that I lifted directly from 4BEraser's Bismarck card. I did make her Oktoberfest outfit myself tho. Her bomber jacket was taken from a Kay Saunders card. One of these things is not like the others... 

So yeah, that's all for now and for those not in the know, I had a poll where I asked whether or not y'all wanted to see more updates to old cards or new cards and updates won with a super majority!  So git yer feather dusters out, because I'm gonna bring out a whole lotta old ass shit with a fresh new coat of paint on 'em.  

Oh and I forgot to mention, but I increased the leg spacing of all cards across the board. Turns out people's legs are a lot more separate than I thought/I really need to think about anatomy first before trying to go for a vase like figure.
