Quick Update! (Patreon)

I started to feel the concern of some people about the update. And the game.

Good Morning! No, Hero's Harem Guild is not abandoned... or delayed... or any other kind of problem.

I keep working on the game, and I'm almost near the end stages of the update. Sadly, I already said that I won't say an ETA now, but I will give a date 1 exact week BEFORE release.

There's A LOT of people waiting for this update, now they are more than double the number of people than last year's update! Now I cannot afford to make mistakes during the update, I want people to fully enjoy this update, even if it is a beta, people waited patiently for a long time for this. So I prefer to do things right!

For context; In the previous beta release, there were a lot of bugs that broke saves of people and I had to be updating mini-hotfixes on discord every like 2 seconds. But some people don't use discord, so they had bugs and blablabla.
You all know that I will probably use some kind of launcher for the game, but we need to test it, yet. So I don't think it will be ready AT LEAST for the Beta.

But I will keep talking about the game anyway because I don't like short posts.

First of all, at the start of the year, I thought that at this point in the year I would be doing a summer event (like the Halloween event). The things that I planned at the beginning of the year did not turn out FOR ANYTHING as I believed.

I believed that everything was ready, that now "I would only have to sit at the computer 12 hours a day doing events", and with that everything would go perfectly.

Unfortunately, it was not like that, plus, the pandemic (That seems to be near-finishing on the other side of the world), keeps hitting hard, and, well, things happened.

But enough depression let's talk about interesting stuff.

I'm working a lot on the development of the characters and the story because that is what I believe people want me to put effort into. I've received a lot of feedback during the year, and I was surprised that people liked the attempt to put a story (A little more "deep" than usual) into a lewd game, at least in these kinds of games. You know what I mean. I'm not gonna lie, I'm scared as fuck to not be able to meet the expectations, but I think people will like it.

I'm giving ultra mega hyper efforts to make an interesting story while making it look extra good! It takes time, yes, It is already happening that I have to change or eliminate events that I did at the beginning of the year to make it more suitable for the story.

At the beginning of the year and... before the beginning of the year.

I'm even making sure for characters to have their own designs, like original weapons or clothes. I want this game to feel different from the ones of its kind, and for it to feel different, the characters have to be different from what you're already seen.

The actual main characters of the game have basic weapons and basic clothes. (Lucy, Rebecca, Luna, etc.), I'll make sure those will change with time!

Now, you remember I said I'm not able to do events for summer as I have planned, like, 3 sentences ago? Well, it's true that I can't add events to the game, but at least I was able to do something! Along with a special teaser of a character, you will see it in a couple of days.

After that, I'll post the last set of sneak peeks before the update.
