This was an intense episode and watch along with you guys was amazing. I thought that maybe Gideon was a hand of Thrawn but as it seems they are independent forces - so maybe last episode will be his end. I don't see Mandalorians beíng helped by any other then New Republic. Who else ? Or maybe Thrawn will "help" Gideon die as he is already gathering too much attention (or as delicate pretender)- like Luthen left Kreegyr go.

That does sound very Thrawn, making the most calculated decision possible, while also getting rid of any potential threat (not that anyone is really a huge threat to Thrawn but Gideon is probably concerning enough).

Loved the reaction, as always. I love that you always catch all the little lore related things; that's absolutely my favorite aspect of these reactions, knowing that you'll nerd out just like me over things most people won't ever notice.

The hype at hearing Pretorian Guards then the heartbreak at seeing what they do.

This episode was fantastic but I need to know who Gideon's spy in the Mandalorian group is. There has to be at least one other since the episode title is plural. Top suspects are the Armorer, Axe Woves, or the survivor Captain. I think we've been led to be suspicious of the both the Armorer and Woves so they might be red herrings. The survivors led them to the forge and right into the trap and they've been on the same planet with Gideon this entire time. However, it could also any of the other survivors or the kid from Woves group that seemed to get an awful lot of screen time for no apparent reason. Oh, by the way, Brendol Hux was play by Brian Gleeson, brother of Domnhall Gleeson.

The second best part of my Wednesdays, after watching any new episode of star wars, is rewatching it with you guys. Keep up the great work!

The way Gideon says "And best yet it has me in it" do you think he was hinting that all the troopers he has are clones of himself? In the meeting with the shadow council Hux did mention he'd heard Gideon was experimenting with cloning

So much to process. Need to rewatch a couple times. But I was also yelling Pellaeon as soon as I saw him. Paz definitely went out like a boss. Axe made it out the roof, so hopefully he was able to get some kind of warning to the fleet, but I thought communications were blocked once in atmosphere and the Gauntlet is gone, so I’m not sure what Axe can do. Going to be a long week waiting for the next episode.

Man, I'm still not over this episode at all.

Whew. All I can say is, Wow. If Grogu sees his Daddy in danger, will we see him snap in a, YOU LEAVE MY DADA ALONE!!!!!!!!-type of rage, and will his Force powers manifest themselves? Also, where do Bo and the others go? The Gauntlet rendezvoused with the rest of The Fleet, and they have no way to get to orbit, unless someone can jack a TIE. I imagine they would have to call out all the stops and as many favors as possible. I thought I saw something about Boba making an appearance, but Bo & Co. need A LOT more help than that, as in possibly The New Republic.

I gotta hand it to the Grogu puppeteers cause I constantly forget he’s not real. The look he gave thru the blast door glass broke my fucking heart. I approve of Grogu going full dark side next week

Ok .... I'm hoping the armorer is not a spy, as she seems to be their moral compass, and their sole source of clothing. Personally I'm hoping that grugu comes running back after the guards leave, and heals paz... I also wouldn't object if The Republic X-Wing squadron happened to Wander by Mandalore at just the right moment to take out a few tie fighters .

As a quick follow up, The Spies being the title of the episode might mean something different than what we'd typically think it does. I cannot take credit for this but it was pointed in the comments of another's video that it might in fact be a biblical reference to the 12 spies selected by Moses to scout the the land of Canaan as a future home for the Israelites. Bo does take 12 volunteers from the tribes of Mandalorians to scout the planet and retake it as their home again. It also lines up with the fact that while the Jedi are very Eastern based in their religion and philosophy, the Mandalorians are intentionally very Western based. It's certainly something to think about.

Did Gideon take out Pershing to stop Hux from succeeding so he can be in charge? Also will Sabine's Anti-Mando weapon come in to play next ep since the helmet Din found showed signs of the damage from that weapon? Hopefully Carson will bring some friends to Mandalore to check out who broke out Gideon and bring Zeb along!!
