I think he may act as a agent kalus figure (from Rebels), or just be relegated down to a lesser position

If Empire Strikes Back has taught us anything, it's that Admiral's in the Imperial Navy have a short life expectancy when they have a failure in front of a Sith Lord.

Either he'll be shown being punished, or he'll be chastised but allowed to live and be sent somewhere less conspicuous

We have definitely not seen the last of Admiral Rampart. I won’t be surprised if he gets sent to ISB

I feel like since he was the scapegoat and "knows too much", Sheev got what he needed from him and will "discard him".

I think the only way Rampart could still be part of this story is if The Batch had to rescue him for crucial information. But as it stands, the Empire does not tolerate failure and he was nothing but a means to an end.

I think he’s destined to find new employment in the ISB. Somewhere where he could use his evilness without scrutiny from the senate.

I find it unlikely that Rampart would be completely done. I think he will no longer be a public figure at this point, but he still can be useful with some of palpatine’s secret plans.
