Hey guys! Love your videos! To answer your question at the beginning of this one, I'm in my late 20s. I grew up with Buffy, ATLA, the percy jackson books, the star wars prequels (and obviously the OGs too), and all the 90s disney animation fairytales (and SHREK!). Willow feels like all of those combined, and it's why (with the exception of very few moments) the dialogue (like Buffy, Percy), the silliness of some plot conveniences (like Percy, ATLA, star wars) and the music (like Hercules, Tarzan, SHREK!) didn't phase me at all. Willow has never been LOTR, it was always more like a disney fairytale to begin with. So this show feels entirely true to its subgenre of lighthearted fairytale heroes journey movies in a way that makes me actually nostalgic! Because when it comes down to it, this show truly cares about every one of its character's arcs and wants to take us on that journey too while making it tons of fun.
