Here it is folks, we've come to it at last! This is the full length, unedited reaction to Avatar: The Last Airbender 3x16: Sozin's Comet.

Since this is a full length uncut reaction, you will have to provide your own reference video. There will be a count of 3 and you will be instructed on where to start the video.

EDIT: The Timer resets itself at the 1 hour mark (thats my bad, it's because I was in a 00:00 format so that extra digit had nowhere to go)

EDIT 2: All fixed now!

Thanks, and enjoy!

Avatar: The Last Airbender | 3x16 | Sozin's Comet | Full Length Reaction!

This is the full length, unedited reaction to Avatar: The Last Airbender 3x16: Sozin's Comet. Netflix combined the last four parts into a single episode, which I watched in in one go. Since this is a full length uncut reaction, you will have to provide your own reference video. There will be a count of 3 and you will be instructed on where to start the video. Thanks, and enjoy!

Part of the reason I love watching reactions is seeing people discover and enjoy things I have loved. And your reaction was everything I wanted and expected. Enjoy your break, and see you on the flip side (Korra for me) ... I mean other than the Star Wars series' :D

excited to watch! look forward to korra if you decide to continue your journey. truly the rebels to ATLA's clonewars

Enjoyed your reactions to ATLA! Two subtle things about the final chapter are the last bending you see Aang do is the water pulling he learned first in Book 1 to unbeach the ship. Second is the final spoken words of the show are Toph is saying that "I think you all look perfect!" which is a reflection on how all the main cast has fully come around and their character developments have been perfect in the show.

KORRA IS SUCH AN AMAZING SEQUEL SERIES I LOVE IT SO MUCH IF NOT MORE IN SOME AREAS! :) IT'S MORE AIMED AT TEENS THAN KIDS, SO IT HAS A LOT MORE MATURE EDGE TO IT, BUT IT'S NOT LIKE EDGY!!! :) :) <3 <3 I LOVE. KORRA. It's a bit more complex and grey, and darker and shocking for sure! :) But it has so much more lore and amazingness too! :) It's so amazing and I'm excited for that Kyle!

You probably should take a bit of a break before just hopping right into Korra though... :D So the god awful movie is a nice way to do that I guess...prepare to be bored and embarrassed. :D

Man it's been great to watch someone watch and fall in love with this show just as I did. Can't wait for the Korra reactions. I would also recommend watching Avatar Spirits, it's a 30 minute documentary about the making of Avatar that's on YouTube. It's great and I think every Avatar fan should watch it. I don't know if you'd wanna do a reaction to it or anything, but it's definitely worth watching.

Zuko's mom's story is covered in the comic "The Search". Slight sidenote: Katara couldn't have bloodbended Azula because there was no full moon.

As for The Legend of Korra: I personally don't really like it. The creators tried to make the villains very complex, but they didn't do a great job at most of them, so their motivation falls apart when you stop to think about it. Also, unlike in ATLA, the LOK protagonists have this weird thing where they just... aren't on the good side most of the time. Like, they fight against the evil force but they don't really have their own counter-narrative, which I personally find to be a detriment to how much they are worth rooting for. I also have my doubts about the serialised format; I think ATLA's episodic nature works better. However, The Legend of Korra does have some cool characters, more world building and even better animation quality, so you'll probably still have a good time. Just... don't go sit down and analyse character motivations and actions. It will ruin the fun.

the fact that the first and last words of the series are "It's" "Perfect" which is fantastic (sokka:Its not getting away from this time katara and Toph:I think you all look perfect)

I love this series so much. I like that you enjoyed it as well.

I'm so glad you got to the end! I remember when this aired on television (they did air all four parts at once like a movie, so there wasn't a week's wait in between each episode.) I turned off all my lights, got my popcorn, and told my family if anyone so much as thinks of knocking on my door for the next two hours I would immediately kill them lmfao.

Kyle, I stumbled upon your grizzled wizard youtube channel over 2 years ago when your first reaction vid for avatar came out in spring of 2020. I have been watching ever since, your long breaks did make me lowkey sad, however, waiting this long was worth it. Its so amazing to watch someone enjoy this series as much as I did. Thank you for the amazing reactions over the past 2 years while I ate Wendy's spicy nuggets at my computer. I can't wait for you to watch Korra. It has some amazing highs but also some flaws that I'd love to see ur opinion on. Ty ty ty

Technically, Katara couldn't bloodbend Azula at that current time because it only works during a full moon. And I don't think Katara and Azula met during a full moon after she learned bloodbending. Plus, Katara seemed to be really distraught when she was forced to use bloodbending. End of an era, love this series. Love that you'll be reacting to Legend of Korra, some people don't like it as much as ATLA but in some ways I like it better.

Kyle is a Zutara Stan. He knows what’s up hahaha. Loved the reaction! I always look forward to visiting your YouTube channel & Patreon videos. It’s been a hell of a ride. Can’t wait to see your reaction to the movie, then Legend of Korra. Thank goodness we’ve got a whole bunch of Star Wars/SWTOR stuff in between to keep us busy. You rock man!

Dude it has been awesome re-watching this series with you. Can't wait to get into Korra!

You should do a meme review! There are some amazing memes/fan theories!

I've been following your reactions on YouTube but I had to subscribe here to watch the final episodes in real time. This show is a masterpiece. It's a great example of a near perfect production and also goes to show just how difficult it is to create something so good. You need EVERYTHING to come together in perfect harmony: directing, voice acting, animators, writing, music....everyone needs to be at the top of their game to make something this good. With that said, I BEG you not to watch the movie, it's a travesty and an insult to how perfect the animated series is. As for Korra, I think it's worth watching, but go in knowing that it will never be as good as ATLA. It's worth mentioning that the fault probably lies with Nickelodeon. The creators didn't know if they would get more than one season, so they had to deliver a full story with a possible "series finale" after Season 1. This issue repeated itself each season and the final season didn't even air on Nick, it aired just as a streaming series on nick.com. There is some wonderful ATLA lore in Korra that I think is worth checking out.

aang's never taken a life... ha! insert compilation of all the noname soldiers he killed in avalanches, rock explosions, etc...

Indecisive Wolf

Ending the series with "I thought she was gonna end up with Zuko" is honestly where a lot of us felt so you definitely aren't alone there. Many of us are big fans of Kataang but it's obviously where they wanted to go with things despite hinting at Zutara. Either way, it took me forever to get through this reaction series but it's been great to be along for your ATLA journey! Can't wait to jump in and see your reaction to Korra as well!
