This had the best fight scenes in the series

Such a shame mando and grogu meeting had to be this underwhelming.

Yup. I can't help think, what was the entire point of Luke picking him up if they were just going to reunite them in 2 episodes(of episodes with Mando in it) anyway. Then their reunion was basically just a footnote in the episode anyway

I don't feel weird about how Cad Bane died. He was a life long bounty hunter. The fact he survived that job as long as he did is remarkable. He knew it was coming someday, and he was old as hell. And it's just pure star wars poetry that it was Boba, essentially his adopted son, who did the deed. Like you said, the Gaffe stick being the weapon for it was great too. I liked it. Fitting end for a cold-blooded, badass killer gunslinger. You live by the sword, you die by it.

The rancor was amazing. Not gonna lie, I was hoping for at least an indirect reference to crimson dawn or some bigger consequence at the end, but we can roll that into any storyline I suppose. Glad it was Boba to end Cad on screen - no other way to do that. Was a little sad to see him go, and idk if the beeping chest meant anything, but I'm gonna assume he's dead. Love the reaction!

You guys are amazing! See you for the Kenobi show in May!

@Steffen Luke picking him up was to train him to defend himself. After that he gave Grogu the choice to either continue his training to become a jedi or to rejoin Mando.

I loved this episode and I'm so happy to see Mando back with his baby. Thank you both for always making these shows extra fun with your reactions.

Yeah he was very much so a "The Man in Black" type evil gunslinger that shows up, looks cool, and is meant to die in a duel against the main by the end of the western. I can see why people who don't know all about their past wouldn't get it... but when you take into consideration how long this has been coming.... it makes sense that its the end for Bane.

Some discussion has been going around as to whether or not Cobb being alive and teased at the end could potentially be them preparing him to replace Cara Dune's role as the lead in Rangers of the New Republic so that story line doesn't just wind up dead in the water. He's another lawman in the outer rim... and now he has motivation to shut down Outer Rim crime. I feel like it could work.

I wouldn't mind seeing Bane again....perhaps in the past...in something like Kenobi. Him and our boy Obi-Wan have quit a history too....

I enjoyed the show overall but I don't know how to feel about many of the decisions made, especially those involving Mando and Grogu. Those ended up being my favorite episodes but so far my disappointments are outweighing the things I loved. I don't know, I just feel weird about a lot of it. But it was good and it was fun. Lots of exciting scenes. Here's to Kenobi next!

I assume Fett's line about he and Fennic not being cut out to be rulers of the planet is a hint that Cobb is better suited for it.

I wish Fennec had run things lol. She knew the deal
