Patch news - Patch 1.90 (Patreon)

Did some preliminary testing & found most of my mods to be ok.

I will do detailed testing over the weekend.

If you find any patch related issues with my mods,let me know!

If you are having any issues pot patch please make sure to test with ONLY my mods in a clean save.
If you get an error send me the lastexception.txt. Not the BE because BE sometimes wrongly diagnose errors after a new patch.

Edit : I have tested and no major updates are required and mods are safe to use for this patch.

I will ofcourse fix the exsisting bugs

Everything works well for me. Not the subject but will you ever make crepes ? like different kinds? Im French and we eat a lot of these. Anyways, you do amazing work, thanks.

Oh i wanted to make a crepe making appliance. If that takes too long I have plans to make crepes from the fridge/stove

I’m still in the process of testing whether this is a mod issue or a pack issue, but none of my sims are able to eat or drink any of the custom food they prepare and unfortunately there are no exceptions regardless of appliance or recipe.

Did you check in a clean save with ONLY my mods +/- mccc in your folders ? No other mods. Some other mod which is outdated is interfering with completion of action. So I want you to check without any other mod. I couldnt replicate this issue in my game hence I need to know what happens if you have no other mod in your game. This happened a couple of years ago when one person had an outdated coolspear dishes/plates mod. Also ckeck if you have any other food/eating/sitting/cleaning related outdated mod in your game. Also happened when there was broken cc sofa after cats and dogs. Check if you have any cc beds in game as those are broken after this pack. Same issue - https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2017/11/cc-related-sims-cant-eat-put-food-on-the-floor/ Some people also needed to repair the game to get rid of this issue. Did you get any LE ? Generally if its an error with my mod you will get an LE. If you get it send it over to me!

Hello! I have only noticed that the sims cook the meals, they serve themselves, but they cannot eat. They serve themselves a portion, but they leave it on the floor and don't eat it, and if he tells them to do so, there is no action. Cheers!

I just tested everything in a clean save. Can you test with only my food and custom food interactions in a test save ? This issue is due to outdated tuning mods/traits etc. Has happened before with previous patches.

I wanted to download custom food interaction mod, should we just wait until it's compatible with 1.90.358 before trying it?

I removed all the beds I could find, now going through a mod manager to make sure I didn't miss any. Then I'm going to try running the game without the custom food/drink scripts and see what happens. If it still occurs, then I will know I missed something. If not, I'll close out, readd the food/drink scripts and see what happens then. I'll let you know what happens.

i'm still having an issue i put in the discord server about serving toddlers custom food. i'm not sure if this is just a me problem??

I removed all the CC beds, took out your mods and it still happened so I know it isn't yours. It's something else. I'll just use UI extension to keep their hunger needs up until I can figure out what is the issue in my game.

The mods like the custom food and drinks are all giving me last exception files. Is this because they need to be updated or is it broken?

For some reason 'Cook custom Meal' is not working, when selecting it nothing shows up. However, the other options work such as 'Custom Gourmet Food' and 'Custom Grand Meal'.

That is a conflict with some other outdated mod. Can you try in a test save with ONLY my mods ? Random interactions/random menus are not working if you have outdated mods after this patch. If you get an LE send it to me

Check whether you have any tuning mods related to cleaning dishes/cooking/sitting/eating/posture/slots. During a previous patch this occured with outdated coolspears plates cleaning(?) mod

my toddler who just aged up had the issue, i thought maybe it was conflicting with cc high chairs but even with in game ones its still an issue. i'm about the make a new save for the pack and i will update you!

I'll see what I can do. I'm not well versed in finding that stuff out lol She couldn't even drink water, which was hilarious. The glass just disappears before she can drink it.

I think you may have to do a 50-50 with your mods. Maybe something minor is causing this but its so frustrating!

I reckon so. I love your mods (the soap making one is amazing and by far my favorite), so I gotta get this figured out. It's comforting in a way to know that it isn't just me though.

can you send me the LE so that I can see which mod is responsible ? If its a BE report you can ignore because there is erraneous error reporting oftentimes after a new patch

My bad..I need to add the patch number to it and add the final update. No major updates are required for the patch after my weekend of testing.

Do we know if the custom food and custom drink files are updated/need to be updated for the High School patch?
