MAIN CHICKEN COOP POST WITH ALL INFORMATION 

UPDATE (2nd June 2021)

- Egg Carton can be put in the fridge

- After collecting eggs, the sim cannot feed any chicken for 2 hours. ( Take the time to out away the eggs)

- If the chicken meat plant is installed then collecting eggs will also give one piece of chicken meat along with eggs.

  • Fixed LE when eating eggs
  • Removed restrictions - All memebers can care for the coop simultaneoulsy
  • One sim can simultaneously take care of more than one coop
  • Chickens can be fed and eggs can be collected only between 4 AM - 6 PM ( Does not work properly if you advance time with cheats)

I advance time in the morning. Will the coop still work if I just advance to 4 a.m? Or do I need to go through the whole night? I love the coop, but I hate having to fast forward from night till morining.

I couldnt find the reason why they went into the household inventory yet. It sometimes goes into household and sometimes into sim inventory. I will keep looking for the reason!

Use both! But the orange juice override will conflict with SCCO so dont use that if you have SCCO

Hi, what is the difference between the bg and gtw version? I want the coop that could get my sims sick, so should I get the coop bg.v2? I also want the day-night cycle, will the bg version include that or only the gtw version? Edible easter eggs are optional? orange Juice override - I don't get cz I have SCCO. Am I correct?

GTW version adds parts of the GTW sickness system to the mod so if you want sickness and if you have GTW use the GTW version. Edible Easter Eggs are required for the Look for Easter Eggs interaction. I uploaded it as a separate package because many people have the functional easter basket which includes the eggs

I just love all your creations especially the chicken coop. My Granddaughter doesn't put mods in her game but when i told her about your chicken coop she just had to have it. You are an absoulite star keep creating as you are so terrific at doing these wonderful mods.

The .package files are what you click, then it should download. Make sure to always read the mod instructions, because you might not need all files, or some are different versions. Good luck!

Thank you so much for this amazing mod, once again! Have noticed an odd issue though. I have placed the chicken coop on the 50 x 50 lot in Sulani and even though it has been three days since I have fed the chickens they keep saying the eggs are not ready. The coops in my two Willow Creek lots work just fine.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what's the difference in the packages? You said we can only download one. I have Get to Work (I assume that's what the GTW is), but I also want no disease, so which do I pick? Thank you for your help.

If you dont want diseases you dont need the GTW version. That version is for adding the sickness system. Download the BG_NoDisease one!

I downloaded the BG no disease version, and when I look up chicken coop in the item search it shows up, but doesn't actually appear in the menu. Is there some file I'm missing?

What language is your game in ? Turn on debug and see if you can find it! Search by 'Coop' ( without quotes)

i have a question . . . does this mod interfere with any other mods? I only ask because i had the old one, then added this one and I can feed the chicken but i never get the option to collect the eggs. Also my mill doesn't give me a menu when i click on it.. . im gonna try taking every mod out but those two and see if it helps

Make sure to remove all previous files for chicken coop. If any previous files remain they will conflict. Did this issue start with any of the new patches or did it start with the new version ? Do you get the option to check for eggs ? Remove everything. Put only this in your mods folder and check in a clean fresh save. About the mill..that seems like a conflict with some other mod/presence of outdated mod in your folders. Can you do the same thing for the mill ?

1. GTW version - GTW EP required. 2. BG version - Base game compatible. 3. No disease version - sims wont get any diseases from handling the chicken coop 4. No Night and Day cycle - Use this if you advance time by cheats. The feature gets messed up if you cheat time so i included a version without it. Download ANY ONE version of the above

I'm having a minor problem with this and wonder if anyone else is - the moving chicken visuals only show the chickens' legs and not their bodies. Is there any way to fix this? I've tried re-downloading the mod

I've noticed a small issue with the mod. It is letting me feed the chickens, instantly collect the eggs, then feed them again immediately without having to wait at all. It allows me to do it over and over with no time in between. I collected 10 cartons of eggs from a single coop within a couple minutes (real time.) I've tested it with no other mods installed and with every version of the mod and it happens every time. They just released a new patch a few days ago and this is my first time using this mod so I don't know if the issue was there before or if it was caused by the patch.

A little of the egg collection without interruption is by design as people didnt want to wait for the ggs to be available from my old system ( it took pretty long). i was devising a new system where after yyou collect eggs you can no longer feed the chickens for 2 hours. i see that as a time

The farmer sim struggled a lot with my previous coop ( collecting only 1-2 times per day) but people wanted me to tone down on the struggle 😂 I even reduced the frequency of disease so that the farmer doesnt bece sick as often

I get it. 1-2 cartons of eggs a day per coop sounds perfect to me and is what I was expecting but if that's what people want it makes sense. I'm sure it's hard to find a balance between people that want to get rich from having a single chicken coop and people like me that are like why do I get so many eggs and make so much money from a single chicken coop? But I'm also the type of person that uses MCCC to make my sims have to pay somewhere between double to triple the normal amount on bills so they have to struggle to get rich. I suppose I could always just put limitations on myself like only collecting eggs once or twice a day per coop and only selling cartons so I make less money.

I'm having a random issue after downloading the update. I have the feed in my sims inventory and also extra feed that I bought from build/buy but it keeps saying I'm missing the chicken feed and therefore can't feed or collect eggs. if I click on the feed the only option I get is list on plopsy. No idea what's causing the issue

Hey make sure you dont have any of the older files in your folder. I had fixed this issue. Remove all the chicken coop files you have in your folders...clear your caches and then redownload the files from here!

It should if the recipe uses tags. But if specific object definition is used these may not register. I will look into this more

Hi, I'm having a problem with collecting the eggs-- the game says they've been collected, and my farmer has the moodlet saying he's gotten the eggs, but there's no eggs or egg cartons in his inventory, family inventory, or around him. I have the no disease, version 2 one installed, with the chicken plant too (which also won't plant for some reason. It just sits there on the ground with the only option to be put in inventory.) Have I done something wrong? :0

That sounds strange. I will see if there is any issue with that version. Also make sure that you dont have any older files in your mod folder

I have a question about the Chicken Meat Plant, do we need to have it planted/blooming in order to get the meat when harvesting eggs from the Coop or does just having the plant installed in Mods add the meat to Coop harvest? Hope the question is clear, I don't usually do much gardening especially with all the bugs that Eaxis introduces every other pack release; So I'd like to just use the Coop to get the meat.

The egg collection from coop will give meat if you have the plant package in game. No need to plant it!
