cosmic humanoids- revisit doodles (Patreon)

some doodles of a 3 year old idea, and i wanted to redraw and add some design additions

maybe have characters with tattoo like star shapes, akin to beauty marks. maybe their color palettes vary in the color wheel, taking up a chunk of the hues themselves in some cases. in heat derived color, they are like nitro and cain, where their emotions are largely based off the limited color range of yellow to blue ish. the cooler the heat, equals the emotions of sadness, relief, shock, or otherwise discomfort. for the rising heat, it equates to strong emotions, like anger, frustration, even outburst of joy. 

for cosmic/astrals/idk/ with heavier metals that make up their composition, of which affect their own coloration and expression, will have more unique displays of emotions in accordance to their amount and types of metals in their bodies.

wicks are just the non adult or youngens of cosmics. wicks are the little things used to lit up a flame on a candle,  which sounds just about tangentially right.

cosmics as a concepts are just humanoidal forms of astrological phenomena and science.

they have a ''shell' which covers their core, of which can break under enough pressure. this can lead to an explosion or collapse, depending on the level of heat and strength of a cosmic. the shell itself is the body of a cosmic, one where they can interact with the constant. 

stress as an emotion can lead to 'creacking' their shell, like a stress fracture, all in all a bad sign. during thr growing phase to an adult, the shell often remakes itself, and cracking is more normal. its like a molt in a way and sometimes the molt can come in stages and in different areas of the body. in adulthood, molting is more a less infrequent, but can happen. cracking itself is not. its not part of a molt untill the molt is essentially ready to piece itself apart. molting as an adult is like a rather quick crackling and fracturing of the body, especially signified by its cooler/different coloration. but if you look like yourself and crack, its a sure signifier of a stress related issue and not a molt.

anyways, collapsing or going supernova can and does kill the cosmic, often with a large area of damage along its radius. however cracks can heal when sufficient rest is given,  sometimes even undergoing an acute molt.
