their homes like imps, as im planning that their all in the same world. as fairies, imps, and serpents are in the same universe, their will be overlapping features. like here, due to the hot and humid area snakes live here rather comfortable, using the natural  boulders that scatter the landscape.  the color of these rocks also form pigment once crushed and tempered.  so their pots come from the same array of colors as their own homes, matching well.

in one idea i have, things like their relationships are seasonal. they have a new 'mate' every season and ways to identify said mates is to embroider a 'name' that is unique to the snake. a series of triangles, circles, lines, all form the ;name; of the snake mate of that season. 

every snake once they reach  maturity will start their embrodered clothes, for if they wish to participate the mating season. every generation will start with a unique pattern and oppositional color. for example, the first generation will have triangles with yellow, so the second generation will have circles with orange. so on so forth, the more complicated the first line, the later the generation it is. its even custom that families will start on generational clothes so that their youngens have their design already made.
