from my idea, this was an inmate turned labrat with a very serious grudge. this inmate was imprisoned for murdering his abuser, even though the defense was justified. he met 3 other inmates who he gained a strong love for but all of them were taken to become lab rats. during the monsterification, he retained partial memories and all of his ego. he escaped with his exceptional handling of his new serpent flesh body. the facility was busted and many of the subjects escaped.. his goal is now to recover some of his memories and rejoin his 3 other friends as well as saving the other subjects who escaped. by joinning forces he and all the others killed the humans responsible for both his false imprisonment, the project and uncovering a mass governmental conspiracy about the 'new age' and ''meta humans'. added on how his whole group are considered the 'failures' and so much more embedded deep in not just this country but all others.

in the end, a fight amongst the 'meta humans' and the 'failures' ensue, and the failures end up winning with their developed chemistries while the meta humans died for being hyper individualistic and their pride. the world was already at the brink of ending once this ultimate fight started, but as it ended, all that was left was scant humans and the rest 'failures'. even humans who transformed mid story from being affected by the chemicals that caused 'monsterification'. this winning ended with a new age for human-monster kind. the mc recovers his memories over the story and finally lives a peaceful new life with his three companions, being the first to make a family in the new age.

now this was my dream as i wanted to create flesh monster, as ive always loved flesh monsters! this guy is just a part of the many humanoid monsters i make like evan and adi. this story was just the backdrop of my daydream, i had many iterations, such as he was a scientist who accidentally inhaled or consumed chemicals that caused his monsterification and the three others where labrats who he met when he was ultimately captured from this accident. another was that he met the inmates and participated in the science experiment not knowing what will unfold. another was that it was all an accident and the project had pure intentions, and the 4 inmates agreed for reduction in their sentences if they volunteered. the sscientist who was a scientist instead of a inmate helped them escape while also either being affected by the accident or being the only humans harboring the new monsters.

or that in the world randomly one would turn into a monster and would usually lose their minds, becoming just soulless monsters, but the rare occasion happens and monsterification failed to make the main character and the three others lose their rationality, being taken by the government..... or a private institution against the government, being a source of refuge for intelligent monsters to live peacefully amongst each other rather than victims to experimentation.

these are but the many iterations i make with the ideas i have. all of them have cool aspects thematically. in the end the design was spurned by a simple start : a serpent flesh monster! and a second separate idea: inmate finds love and revenge in an extraordinary world.
