update3: added a page!

for more cool bio info, a fused hemipeen is actually a rare condition. its rare enough to have a hemipeen as a human looking urchin, due that itself being a congenital condition. two fetuses fuse or absorb into one, somehow in the process leaving two distinct penile organs that didn't fuse. in this guy's case, its was a partial hemipenile fusing, making that during the absorption or fusing into one process, the penile organs were also in the process of fusing before stopping at some point. the reason as to why is unknown, just like how the start of a fusing itself isnt directly known, but the idea has to do with some immune system error, genetic abnormality, and or/ a general transcription error in the dna that cause developmental changes, somehow affecting the twin fetus into being absorbed (eaten in a way) by the other. (a common phenomena in real life, where one embryo absorbs the other, with varying levels of success.)

these urchins with the condition have varying levels of use, and its quite common that it ends up being a fully functional organ(s). due to the partial fusing, the two urethras end in one as it goes further and the shaft is at its widest at the tip of the crown.

so its rare and that's why the reaction was like that. though it isnt unwanted, just something new. :)
