btw the running motif you see are the symbol of the 4 gods. on his back, on the pendant he wears and on the small staff he's holding. 4 gods connected together represented as rings.

and many the pregnant imps usually sport the accompanying tattoos, circular rings and lines around the belly. they would also have tats around the breasts aswell. a line on their face, usually at the chin leading down to the chest, is one of the 3 lines one would have in the advent of parenthood. the line this imp has represents their conception stage. they had more than one child (especially a gifted child) and the tattoo reflects their successful journey. not all of the imps would get it, but many of the pregnant/parents are more likely to gain facial tattoos than almost any other imp. another symbol of the importance of parenthood.

i didn't draw it, but the shaman also has the 4 gods symbol on his forehead. and the tattoo you see are the example of how much it covers his body, almost no real space left to be, just enough to make out the shapes of the tattoos themselves.

This is my favorite so far. Not just the shaman, whose design is incredible and mesmerizing, but the skinship and love you portray. They look so safe and peaceful, and that's the most beautiful thing.
