this will be a doozy to color, though not all of it will be colored like what you see, the grayscale shows some of the drawings perfectly as is.

not to mention the other sketches i did, those have designs based off of some mushrooms suggested on twitter. like the dead fingers, swirly, ink caps, and a few others, as well as average zombie variations.

this took me like... a 9 ish hours to fully render?  maybe more? the tentacle/intestinal rendering was a journey in of itself lol. i still don't fully get it and i just did my best with the highlights and transitions of color plus the shading. i learned that the color transitions aren't enough for a render, the partial shading also needs to play a part, best if i could incorporate it as a transitional shade too. ill eventually get it, im quite satisfied with how it looks now :) 

of course the sketch is quite lovely on its own, but the render is also pretty and close to the original. in this form, he is very soft and squishy, and you can do 'stuff' with all those folds and bulbus masses. he's not really wet just glossy, but he could be ;)

he looks very horror, but the blue makes him aesthetic horror
