edit: added a geographical region! Sooooo they live a bit more diverse than originally planned, but it’s because I can’t make up my mind lol

these wont be the homes of the imps (maybe some of them I’m sorry I’m not as smart haha, I like to add some diversity), as I’m imagining their homes to be brick based, possible areas near mountains, deserts, or anywhere where brick, stone, and mud is common. they are craftsmen and innovators, so Im Debating how their homes and areas look. what I do know:

they have a tattoo culture. always have a large area for ceremony, dances, and for general socializing. They have many large homes, and around the center of the village, there’s all the shops. there clothes are mainly skirts with a variety of designs meant for different uses. there are basic tattoos that are meant to show each progression of imp aging, from childhood, adolescents, and adulthood. Then tattoos that display acts of bravery, skill proficiency, or job description. Class and title are also tattoos. but since they are a more fair and equal village, classes aren’t seen as a measure of status, but the amount of achievements that decorate your body from your class does.
they have a drinking culture, with an accompanying etiquette. There homes are interconnected and backyards are shared with their neighbors.

How cool! Mayan architecture is pretty elevated (quite literally too with how tall or how many steps there are haha) and grand in its more monumental buildings, extremely beautiful and complex art on almost every square inch of their buildings ( similar to the aztec as well) its truly majestic and I even saw that the way everything was built may have even served as a way to amplify and project sound! Speaking of landscapes and what not have natural disasters and weather conditions such as monsoons been a factor as well for you ?

I've been thinking on it, for the tropical areas, and areas near rivers that could get flooded, that would mean a few things. some could have elevated homes, some could give up sedentary living for a more nomadic lifestyle to combat harsh conditions, or they can invest into hardened foundations or even terraforming areas to make the weather less aggressive. (maybe digging around the river for a damn, to fill for any flooding, or adding areas where water collection can happen and lower risk of flooding homes.) in other ideas, adding safety by clearing out any potential debris and building possible barricades that can divert winds and also serve as the first line of defense. earthquakes will also need homes to have dampeners and extra space for the vibrations. though not all disasters can be handled completely so their should be some emergency exit or area when the inevitable comes.

Ooo in connection to the Aztec I am reminded of Tenochtitlan, which btw still breathtaking to think about how ingenious it is with the way they seamlessly blended urban n military needs. Also to think of deserted settlements/villages like for example seeing a migration of a group upwards closer to the hills as the Monsoons that once helped the village flourish is now more destructive than they could manage. Honestly climate change and the effects of nomadic migration are something we see in real life as well, so I was also thinking that we can even see patterns and different ways nomadic groups have tended to the landscape they temporarily settled in, like for example the planting of food sources so that when they come back in a better season they have something to help them! Trying to think of the travel/migration patterns of salmon, turtles or butterflies or something for example , and how maybe the imps might have something similar. I'm having trouble better expressing this concept/idea but it's like a leave the place better than it was type mindset Edit:Okay looking into it a little more a good example of what I'm talking about would be the kochi people of Afghanistan and how they can be purely nomadic or semi nomadic, semi nomadic for those who migrate seasonally to give their herds better grazing lands. ther nomadic pastoralists (which seems to be the correct term for them) would be the the Mongols and their neighbors the Dukha people.
