I’m iffy on this comic, hopefully it ends up being okay and is more or less hits the mark.

ash and Leo help each other out when it comes to doing certain tasks that are especially difficult for them. One of the for ash is hygiene, which he tends to forget, get overwhelmed by, or occupy himself with other things. His schedule often leaves little room for Extensive maintenance. He can work with food and exercising, but at the end of the day, he is often too tired, overwhelmed, or again, forgetful of doing this. Leo has an issue with food, and tends to be very picky about it. If its organized a certain way, if it’s cooked with a certain smell, it can put him off. Ash knows Leo’s limits well and makes food under those condition (as ash himself frankly understands and has these needs too) Leo makes food prep plans and organize a list of ingredients that doesn’t overwhelm ash throughout the week (when buying them) and ash will take the time and prepare the meal.  Leo helps in one way, ash helps in the other way. Leo delegated a certain day for major maintenance needs for his body and will often remind ash during this time to do the same. if ash hasn’t, and is frankly unable to do this, Leo will just simply wash him instead. for ash, its irksome as he has the desire to be fully independent and work by himself most of the time, even if he understands that help is necessary, he doesn’t want help and wants to prove to the people in his past that he can function without them. its a good goal, to be independent, but it’s also rooted in a form of ableism. Ash thinks that he is a lesser person if he cannot function completely independently, even though it is completely okay to not be. Leo knows this, and also understands that Sentiment, as his family has said those same terrible things to him.  Leo is just more okay that he has needs and that they need to be adressed, even if that means someone helps him a little. Ash knows this aswell,, and is at grips with two states of his mind, he doesn’t like that he thinks these two ways ( help is okay, but he cannot get the same help). Leo will have to remind him that he deserves help just as much as Leo does and it does not make him less of a person.  Or along those lines? It’s fortunate that ash is majorly interested in exercise and making things (which involves food) So those things aremuch easier for him to keep track of and maintain, but hygiene? It’s annoying, bothersome, it feels uncomfortable and is often at times that makes it difficult  to execute Properly. Leo finds it soothing, but ash finds it meddling. Just like how Leo’ relationship with food (making it and even at times consuming it) is annoying and bothersome, ash finds the process soothing and enjoyable. They both benefit from this dynamic, but even if it isn’t entirely beneficial, it doesn’t matter. They do it because they care for each and themselves. So to cap it off, ash has issues with hygiene, Leo helps him out, and will remind him that needing help if any kind is okay and does not devalue a person. (since ash gets incredibly upset that he can’t do this himself as regularly as other can because he remembers the people from his past that told him hell never be independent and therefor a lesser person because of it)  ah, I just need to get these thoughts out There. Hopefully the comic doesn’t break any character personalities or behaviors, and/or comes off as badly done. I already re-wrote some dialogue but even then it falls flat to me. Regardless im going to finish this and hope that when I reread it again, it falls in smoothly with the character, context, and flow of dialogue.
