When violet is learning how to more Effectively fit in human society for her safety as a massive bird monster, she is met with snow ( odd names for birds, and I’ll make it a trend ) whom plum knows well,  who does not recognize her but is immediately antagonistic, as she perceives snow as a threat (battling for mates essentially) while snow is already in a relationship with two others and is fine with more, she doesnt want plum (especially because Violet has the affections for him) so violet shouldn’t be worried.  Snow does Know violet, possibly the biggest of their kind, who she fatally lost to. Along with the rest of plum‘s friends, snow helps violet to maintain her human disguise while keeping a good ten feet away from her antagonism. It’s an area where violet can be free from suspicion while also being close enough to human civilization for supplies. (It’s a big cabin area surrounded by a lake and dense woods, with a few hundred feet away from a small town.) snow and her partners (sunset and nightshade ( human named sal and hiro) ) reconnect their friendship with plum and discuss how to find the rest of their kind. (Snow just wants to chill and have her kids  whil plum be increasingly worried over the safety of his kind And if they can adapt to the encroaching human  presence)
