Lucii is shorthand for Lucifer, an archangel that saw the deaths of thousands of fellow angels first hand during the war against humans (in this case the humans decided to take and torture the angels for many reasons, some call them the devils that will bring them down, others find them god’s gift as slaves, or the exact opposite where they need to be protected and worshipped. At first they tried to kill and capture the angels and eventually after the archangels joined in the battle, the humans officially lost (despite the angel casualties faaaar exceeded the humans)  and then redirected their anger towards each other (humans who treated the angels like crap And the ones who treated them like gods). TLDR: humans commit crime against angels) and then lucii began to create care facilities for angels who were mentally and physically damaged by humans in order to rehabilitate and reintroduce them back to the other angels. some angels we’re not able to fully recover and therefore are permanent residents that lucii takes care of. Noodle is one of them, and angel who lost their arms and could not handle being groups of 5 or more. Noodle sleeps with lucii sometimes and is one of the helpers. Lucii‘s specific job is to care of the terminal residents, angels who‘s body has stopped healing and began to deteriorate. Eventually those angels will pass away On their own, and lucii is one of the few angels that can withstand the pain of watching them die (as peacefully as lucii can make their journey) and they will be laid to rest in a meadow of flowers ( the flowers are the souls of each dead angel, who whenever they decide, will become something else (another angel, half angel half other animal or living creature, or a part of another living angel which will represent as separate wings or even other body parts) ) all of the terminal angels were a product of human violence, in which at one point their minds became too broken to heal and It represents as physical deterioration despite being cared for by other angels. they can no longer repair the feelings of being unloved, worthless, and much else.  most angels can rehabilitate even from the worst of human cruelty, but this happens And lucii is there to give them the best of care regardless.
