my favorite family - Richard grew better and better as a person especially during his years as a parent (still is) being a father made him more forgiving, reflective, lenient, kind, and honest.  He wasnt like this initially and damaged his relationship with his first child, which now plagues him as he grows older. He regrets his past actions and is always looking towards amending his mistakes with his eldest child. ( He feels so bad about it that it contributes to his diagnosis of depression.) he has his wife whom he’s been married to for over 20 years and longer as a couple. He went to the military for two years after realizing he isn‘t cut out for it and instead, wanting to settle down as a father and a teacher for kids and adolescent. His wife was on board and they set out to eventually have 3 kids. Richard wanted more but it became a severe heath complication after the 3rd (almost dying). he eventually became the vice principle where he meets his old military pal (some fire loving tall man) which now just gets on his nerves. After work he Spends his time with his wife and kids or does some charity.  His wife initially worked as head of construction, but then turned digital and stay at home most of the time for her job.
