In January we present to you The Great Ursa Empire was at the brink of collapse when miners stumbled upon mysterious crystals in the Northern Fringe. Imperial mages seized the opportunity to study the crystals and called them Makaria. The research quickly yielded positive results—the crystals hold immense power. With them, the empire could be saved and its enemies would come on their knees begging for mercy.

Empress Zelina IV was delighted with the news and handwaved any concerned voices. Some wizards were reporting unusual behaviors of their fellow researchers. Mages were seen humming to the crystals, staring at them for hours, and talking to them. All such reports were immediately destroyed and the whistleblowers silenced. While the process of harnessing the Makarian energy was straightforward, there were unforeseen consequences of holding this new power.

I haven't had the chance to test these, do we know if the horse back riders can be posed on the bears?

not having the riders fit the bears is a big miss in my book when you have a command miniature riding a bear and a sleigh being pulled by bears

They looks AWESOME! Can't wait to print them and paint them and put on the table and play with them :-D (probably not doable until spring/summer :-( ) just a silly question: why the 32mm supported huscarls occupy less space in disk than the 28mm supported ones? it's a silly question i know, but i fear there are something missing but doing some random checks the pieces seems the same and also the scale seems correct

I feel like only having a single bear rider with no options at all is a huge missed opportunity when you're going for a Kislev proxy but I really like the frosty zombie bear.

I think having Zelina at 72mm over the Yaga is a missed opportunity. The 72mm sculpt of Zelina is nice but there's nothing really stand out about the figure, that Yaga though, that would have made an impressive display piece at 72mm.

I found one of the cavalry huscarl is missing one hand and there is no right hand leftover to be placed here or there. You can always print an huscarl hand and cut down to fit it but i guess there is something missing Besides, seems to me you can put the bow on the cavalry models, thus adding more options to their modularity... did you think can be done easily? i REALLY need some mounted archers and this looks awesome for the part!

The ice bear is fairly small, just slightly larger than the regular bears in the set. That giant though, that thing's BIG. The body takes up almost the entire build height on my Photon Mono. Estimate roughly 140-150mm

Love this set! I could not find the picture of the Zagloba model while sorting the files, am I overlooking this or is it missing? ** EDIT: Zagloba-stl is depicted as boyka and the boyka-stl has no picture of his own

dumb question, is there anyway to get the arabian nights STL files still? i just became a patron and plan to stay but would love to get the AN files and also some others from previous sets. THe bear set this month is great and I like the stand in for the white witch of narnia.

Y'all need to beef up the supports on those bears, I've yet to get one to print properly from the presupported files without adding additional supports.

I've had this same problem with this month's set. I've had to add supports to almost all my prints.

I've printed quite a few of the Hussars and had zero issues with any of them or their accoutrements (including those hair thin bows). I didn't start seeing problems until I started printing the bears. The Hussar Officer's bear failed horribly, beefed up the supports a bit (.6 tips instead of the .3 that it had stock) and it printed fine. Thought it was fluke until I ran the Witch Queen, sled and bears. Everything printed fine except the bears which failed the same way as the Hussar Officer's bear for the same reason. The tips if the supports on those bears are just too small.

Best monthly release imo, im gonna start up a Kislev army for WAP. This is a great core for that. I only wish they had made some more units, like the kvassnics and the chekist. But this is great nonetheless.
