TF Statement - May Release (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone,
We put a great deal of effort into making our models unique. As artist we are very concerned with copyrights and respecting other authors property. It is our absolute priority.
Countless times our work has been copied, models have been used by other companies, sold without approval, shared publicly without consent. We know how upsetting each of these situations are and we know how much it hurts.
All the more it struck us when it occurred on our end. How this Patreon expands due to your support is our driving force. We want to give you as much as we can and it led to a hurry. We know that it's not quite an explanation but in all this, we did not thoroughly check the work commissioned to other associates that create the models apart from Daniel and Sławek. We released a part of the model that is based on the model featured by the Artisan Guild. Specifically, the horse of the Vampire Prince.
As we have nothing but exceptional respect for Artisan Guild - they are true pioneers that led the way for many artists creating 3D models - it is a shattering negligence, which everyone on our team took as a deep personal failure.
We will not let anything like this happen again. We will make every effort to examine the process of our artists every step of the way to be sure about their work.
In this place, we would like to address the apology to you, Andrea and Francesca, for this situation and express our admiration for your work. Thank you for your immeasurable understanding. We hope that you understand that we would never purposely let anything like this happen and that you know how sorry we are. We wish you nothing but further success and hope that our roads will cross only in positive situations and perhaps future cooperations.
We also owe a big apology for the situation to you, the Patrons. The mentioned model has been removed from the May Release. It will be replaced with a new one as quickly as it is possible.
It might sound weird, although it should not, but we want to thank everyone who did not let this issue pass unnoticed and spread the word. Even though this is our mistake we truly believe that our 3D community should support the artists in such situations. We are glad that you did not leave it without a reaction. As saddening as this experience is, it is also an opportunity to improve our work.
We hope that the process of replacing the model will not bring you much trouble. We will be back with more updates soon.

EDIT: Back story - Andrea from Artisan Guild reached out to us with information that Vampire Prince's horse was recreated from their model. He pointed out details that showed that the sculptor used his horse and made some small changes. He asked us to do something about it in the most polite way we could imagine in this situation. We removed everything as soon as we were informed and Sławek created a brand new horse for the model.
