Hey everyone!

New build day!  This one was a doozy.  The addition of beastmasters meant a lot of work as you will now be able to recruit beast type enemies with them.  It won’t be easy but will be quite a boon.  On a later build, you’ll be able to breed them to help grow your menagerie.  And after that, you’ll maybe be able to use village women to help out.  ^_^

You will also be able to save some precious Deeds if you bow to Harmony’s scheme for a while.  If you keep your grubby hands off of her, she will let you have Elizabeth for half price.  What a deal!  Lol.

I also made it so that when a new round starts, all your troops deployed to the walls get put back into the troops tab for easy redeployment.  I found it quite a time saver as I was testing it.  Another time saver was to have the individual fight result panels at the end of the fight animation rather than having to click the done button twice per fight.

Plus a handful of Harmony events makes for a huge update!  The sad part is that you’ll have to restart your game as so much stuff has changed in the backend that old saves won’t work anymore.  To help remedy that, I gave a generous boost to the starting resources just for this build so that you guys can get right back on the horse without having to cheat.

- Made it so that the maximum “Live” stat for a non-hero unit is 90%.

Next month, I will give a look at the tutorial.  They are always pretty barebone and I’m sure I can do a better job.  I’ll also work on game rhythm.  Right now, all the options are dumped on you right at the start.  It can be overwhelming.  So, I’ll make Hugar think of things as the game goes along.  Some options will open after a number of rounds, others will become available after you do things a certain number of times, and others still will come online when you reach certain points with the girls.  This will add a better flow to the game and make you feel like you’re advancing.  

After that, I am planning to work more talking to the people of Drakdor.  I’ll write a few more Hugar ones where he checks on the buildings but I have something ambitious in mind too.  I want short little stories for every combination of troops and buildings.  Of course, SHORT will be the operative word here.  There will be over a 100 possible combinations so it will just be little smutty snippets of the lives of the people.  If I find that I like the format, I’ll have them evolve as things change in the game.
