Hey everyone!

This month, I took a week off to recharge my batteries.  It really worked.  I had fun with my lovely wife and then dove right back into BtP with renewed vigor.  

This time, I focused on the programming.  There were a few things that I wanted to put online and I wanted to give you guys more info to make decisions with.  Overall, I am happy with how it turned out.  ^_^

My lovely wife has been hard at work too.  She made some backgrounds and a CG for us.  She almost managed to finish another CG but was held back by something and missed the build date.

The deets:

- More info on troops and building before buying.

- Added the turn actions system.

- Added the event system (After the battle results are shown, you will get a random event each round).

- Added 3 events.

- Army troops stay in position between rounds.

- Made fighters, Julianna, Takgore and Hugar cost 0 actions to deploy.

- New CG (Elizabeth - Collar).

- New BG (forest).

- New BG (throne room).

- New BG (Julianna’s room).

- Fixed some bugs new and old.


Next month, I will add to everything.  I’ll add more proclamations, events and smutty scenes.  All the basic systems of the game are in, now.  We’re still missing a few advanced stuff but that will be for the future.

The progress between builds is astounding! Love how the new UI looks.

I like it! I followed you back in SL, and dropped part way through Hall Monitor (the art was very slow in coming and I got a tad frustrated). I like this format, I assume you still have problems with getting art delivered in quantity but this style (where the sex scenes are all sort of side-actions to the main sandbox action) having placeholders is not nearly as distracting. Some feedback, ordered by my guess as to the ratio of bang for the buck (player benefit vs developer effort): * The right-click help is great, but needs to be complete for friendly abilities as well. I still can't figure out what exactly "rage" does, for example. * Having the hunting and gem-guarding expeditions remember their occupancy the way mines and buildings do would be great. I spend way too much time each round tediously dragging stuff into the Aquarine party, for example. * Some sort of colored dot on the buildings that shows us what and if someone is working inside would save an awful lot of annoying "clicking on 20 buildings trying to find that worker" scenarios. * The "< >" method of assigning troops to battles is great, but it should probably be implemented everywhere else too (buildings, hunting, etc). * This is the sort of game that appeals to my inner min-maxer so a log would be really helpful. Right now there is important stuff in the end-of-turn window (how many guys you gained, money made, etc). It would really make the game more enjoyable if I could click somewhere and see the past turn summary (or better yet, a history of turn summaries). Putting the net losses amongst your troops in there would also be helpful so you can work out if your total fighter count is going up or down. Thanks, and I am enjoying the game!
