I'm gonna say it, the Knowledge is Power advantage is a great advantage. While a lot of people hate it cause it's an overpowered advantage, I've seen it as one of the best sources of entertainment from the new era. You got season 41 with Liana getting it and trying to use it on Xander, giving us the iconic "No, but you can have this fake" line. Season 42, Drea gets the KiP and becomes a bit mad with power, leading to Omar to try to blindside her, and her using it on Mike who looks defeated before pulling the fast one and revealing that he didn't have his idol. Season 43, Geo wins the KiP and tells Karla about it, leading him to instantly be voted off the tribal. But that wasn't the end for the Knowledge is Power, as James would end up finding it, resulting in the idol scramble that led to us thinking that Jeanine's idol was gone with Dwight, only for it to be revealed that Jesse had it. Then James became the next victim as Noelle, Owen, and Sami blindside him for having it. Even in Season 44, where it's not even in the game, the curse of the Knowledge of Power still remains! At the F9, people were panicking about the possible KiP, so Jaime gives her fake idol to Kane, who ends up getting voted out. A lot of fans were upset she didn't end up playing the fake idol and looking like a fool, but we got an even better outcome. Because Jaime lost what she believed was a real idol, she tried to "come clean" about it, which somehow resulted in everyone thinking that this silly little goober was a social master manipulating, 5-D Chess playing, Super Mega Ultra Survivor Strategist that was playing them all for fools. That's way more entertaining than some embarrassing reveal that it was fake during tribal. While I will concede that it would really suck and not be fun if the KiP was actually used successfully and resulted in someone losing their advantage that could've saved them, I would be willing to risk that outcome if it keeps giving us gold like this.

I have been enjoying the new era so far. Season 42 is in my top 10, with season 41 in my top 20.
