Yeah I really didn’t like this twist. But I don’t know how much worse it is then a bad tribe swap for a player.

Just dumb to merge and then not let the merge vote like a merge. How about just 2 individual immunities for the vote, team with winner gets reward. Otherwise, normal tribal council. The steal the vote twist could have led to interesting tv/tribal with a choice of Lauren or Jaime being the vote, leading to the potential team up of Matt and Yam Yam to cause some chaos. But that "twist" was also just silly, so I'm glad it didn't affect anything. Another time where Survivor is taking the game away from the players. 1 episode with 2 dumb twists and forced drama, instead of letting the game and players force the drama.
