Hello everyone! This update brings x86 and x86_64 support, several bug fixes and latest features and bug fixes from the latest patron build.

  JoiPlay 1.01.61
    -> Follow System Theme option is added and enabled by default.
    -> HTTP Server backend is changed.
    -> x86 and x86_64 libraries are added.
    -> Landscape orientation is allowed for launcher now.
    -> Virtual gamepad is updated.
  JoiPlay 1.01.60
    -> Several changes made in gamepad including new buttons and gesture events.
    -> Theme colors and design of some widgets are changed.
    -> SDCard support is added for TyranoBuilder games.
    -> "Invalidate Missing Games" option is added to app bar to remove games with missing folders.
    -> appendFile and appenFileSync functions are added to NWJSAPI.
    -> Orientation changes are persistent between instances now.

    -> Low frame rate bug on RPG Maker VX Ace games is fixed.

    -> x86 and x86_64 libraries are added. 
    -> Input overrides are separated from other overrides and "Pokemon Input Overrides" option is added to enable/disable it.
    -> Overrides are added for WFInput.dll.
    -> Overrides are added for several Pokemon Essentials based games.
    -> Ruby's GC malloc limit is increased.
  RPG Maker Plugin 1.00.70
    -> Custom keymapping support is added. Plugin will read mappings from Internal Storage/joiplay_keymappings.txt file if it exists. This file can be generated with JoiPlay Mapping Generator app.
    -> "Optimize Map" option is added as workaround for tile rendering issues. It recreates maps and tilesets to reduce tileset height.
    -> inori-z's tilemap fix script is added. It's written by inori-z (Roza) and all credit goes to him/her.
    -> Input overrides are added to allow controller inputs in game.
    -> Postload script execution is optimized.
    -> Several overrides are added to fix bugs in Vitamin Plus, MGQP, Pokémon Insurgence and others.

Hey man, great job with the update. I'm happy to report that the Seed Flare bug has been fixed with this update. However, I first had to toggle off all fixes related to Pokémon (Poke Essentials fix, Input fix and Inori fix), save the game, then turn them all on again to get the fix "to work". Before I did that I was getting crashes on pokemon encounters and Seed Flare still wasn't working. Fortunately doing the old "turn it off, then turn it on again" method of fixing things worked for me this time, lmao. I am able to use Seed Flare now without problems. Though using the Poke Essentials fix takes a big hit on the frame rate so I turn it off whenever I don't need it, lol. Unfortunately I'm still getting a crash on Helios City when surfing in the water west of the city (going to Route 17), as I reported to you last time. The frame rate slows down to a crawl before crashing, I thinking it's another map-related issue. Either way, will continue to playtest this version. Still stoked to see the Seed Flare bug fixed. EDIT: Seed Flare bug reappeared, it doesn't work after I closed the app then reloaded my save. The fix doesn't seem "permanent", and turning the toggles off and on again doesn't work. I dunno what I did to "break" Seed Flare again, but as of the moment I can't get it to work again regardless of the settings I use. But I swear it got fixed earlier, dunno what happened. Addendum: Also turning off and on the fixes seems to have broken the other buttons apart from X, C and F12 (Menu/Cancel, Action and soft reset, respectively). Quicksave (V), item shortcuts (Q, W and E) broke and don't work anymore.

For Pokémon Insurgence: I just noticed that you withdrew v1.00.72 for major bugs, was about to report encounter crashes and more broken buttons lol. Also I know what causes the Seed Flare bug now, and it has nothing to do with 1.00.72. If you use the MapConverter and Optimize map options to decrpyt the maps, then delete Game.rgssad, Seed Flare will not work. However if you don't use it, keep Game.rgssad and just use Inori fix, Seed Flare works. Unfortunately, the load times are unplayably slow if the MapConverter isn't used to decrypt the files. Battles take 5 seconds to load, the map takes 5 seconds to load too, when it used to be instant to half a second. Is there a way to keep using the MapConverter workaround and fix Seed Flare bug?

Hello. First off, great update, loving the UI changes you've brought to the emu. I started playing Insurgence last night on this latest update, and all was working fine, until I got out of the Cultist base, and there were missing tilesets https://imgur.com/a/tHBTa8T I thought this was an issue with the game, but I tried it on the previous version of Joiplay and RPGmaker, and I'm not facing this issue there. Is there any fix to this? I'm really loving the new UI changes, and dont wanna play on the old version. Thanks

Hi, 1.00.71 was the buggy version. I forgot to remove the warning after uploading 1.00.72. You can use "Decrypt Files" option to decrypt Game.rgssad. inori-z's tilemap fix seems working fine on most games so you don't have to use "Optimize Maps" option. For input bug, "Pokémon Input Overrides" option should be disabled unless you use a controller. I couldn't reproduce crashes on insurgence so I'm a bit blindfolded at the moment. Can you try disabling inori-z's tilemap fix in settings and try again?

Just want to let you know dude, I think I fixed all my random crashes on 1.00.72. I just had to turn on Pokémon Essentials fixes. The input fix and Inori fix are turned off though since I have all the workaround tilesets fixes you gave me before. Haven't crashed in about an hour of playing. However, I can confirm that Seed Flare will only work if I use the Inori fix. If I use the workaround tileset maps that you gave me then delete game.rgssad, Seed Flare is broken. However, if I use Inori fix and use game.rgssad instead, and delete the workaround tileset files, Seed Flare will work. But I don't want to use the Inori fix because the loading times are awful. 1 battle takes 5-10 seconds to load, I'm guessing because it is decrypting the maps on the fly? Is it possible to fix this bug without using the Inori fix? Thanks again!

It seems like screenshot function causes it. Some encounter animations use snap_to_bitmap function and when Pokémon Essentials fixes aren't enabled, it takes a screenshot and loads it as bitmap instead of using built-in method. I will try to fix the screenshot function before the next releases. Map loading lags can be fixed by using "Decrypt For" option. You can long tap to game icon and select it to extract files from Game.rgssad. After files extracted successfully, you should delete Game.rgssad. Current implementation of rgssad support is a bit slow to handle read requests from Pokémon Essentials games so decrypting archive files usually helps. Thank you for feedbacks.

Hi, first of I wanted to say thank you for the continued updates and support. What you're doing is truly amazing. Anywho, I just wanted to report a further problem with Pokemon Reborn. You may remember me from your last update post, but I have run into the same issue of major lag while trying to enter Opal Ward from Lower Peridot Ward. The game stutters and eventually freezers or crashes, which leaves me at an impasse. I have a Snapdragon 845 and 4GB of RAM, so the specs should not be the problem. It may be another memory leak, to be honest.

Some games doesn't support the cheat script and there is nothing to do unfortunately.

Can you send a screenshot and post device information? There is a known bug with mali gpus which causes black background.

Actually I have a device with 2GB RAM and sd415 but it doesn't crash on my device. Do you have same issue with other games?

Hey, does the update fixes the black screen/tiles on Pokemon Reborn? are there any workaround patch that I need to apply? My phone only has 2gb of ram.

Hi, It should fix these issues on most devices but there is a bug which causes black background on mali gpus. If you have a device with adreno gpu, it should run fine without any patch.

I am experiencing a crash on pokémon insurgence when trying to surf to the whirl islands and I am experiencing a crash when entering power plant epsilon on pokémon Uranium and finally anyone trying to advance the story in pokémon full moon but when hoping towards the distortion world cave it crashes before you can get to it I have a OnePlus 6T

Amazing work. Question about Pokemon Solar Light/Lunar Dark though. There is a stutter/hitch every time you change areas or walk about 10 tiles left or right within the same area. I've tried using the "Decrypt Files" option and deleting the .rgssad as well as the "Optimize Map" option. I then tried to use Map Converter 1.02 by following the readme but after the extracting files step it gave me an area saying something along the lines of "line 23, could not create bitmap". Wondering if there is a workaround for this game, or if it is not fully compatible yet.

Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately there isn't a fix at the moment. I'm working on bugs but it takes some time to find what causes it.

Hi, short (~300-600 ms) hitches probably happen while game checks new maps in range. Using "Optimize Maps" option or MapConverter won't fix these hitches unfortunately. You can delete the patch folder to revert changes. I'm working on optimizations but there isn't any solution at the moment.

Hi, I use joiplay to play pokemon reborn and it works fine with 18.2 but 18.3 drops me the next error "script '055' line SpriteWindow: NameError ocurred. uninitialized constant System" Is there something I could do? Thank you in advance

So does using the mapping plug in make controllers work properly for mapping or am is there another step I'm missing? I generated the txt file but my controller is still wonky with the app
