The final pattern for the secret and glamorous Society of Charm is here! We’re delighted to wrap up this year with a companion gown for our popular Society Dress.

The Starlet Gown is a 1930s-inspired fitted knit dress in two lengths. It features an elegant cowl neckline and deep-V open back (with optional modesty panel), and it is fully interchangeable with the Society Dress—so you can mix-and-match the bodice, skirts, and sleeves between the two dresses to create your own perfect sophisticated (and comfy!) gown.

You'll find the tiled file (for printing at home on A4 or letter size sheets and taping together) and the A0 file (for printing at a copy shop like ThePlottedPattern.com or PDFPlotting.com). Please note that we now have two size blocks, so make sure to download the correct files for the size you're making. If you have any questions about which size to sew, don't forget to read our blog post with all the details!

Don’t forget to watch the companion tutorial video and then share your makes with the hashtags #charmpatterns and #starletgown!

xoxo,
Gertie

So, I didn’t read all the comments yet, but how do you solve the backless problem for someone with large ta-tas? Do you use a stick on bra? Or is there some other option I’m not aware of? I never wear backless so I’ve not had to deal with it before but I really want to make the backless version. I am 38DDD.

Michelle, I lowered the modesty panel until it covered my bra strap. Worked fine.

If you’re on the computer just click the collections tab and there is a folder of videos. If you’re on your phone (your phone may be different) but I have to click Gertie’s picture and then I can see the collections tab.
