Whether you’re a Rizzo, Marty, Frenchie, Jan, or Sandy, I hope you’ll roll up your sleeves and join the Charm Ladies gang!

This Eisenhower-style workwear jacket throws out the traditional menswear style lines to create a shape that highlights all of your curves. With a secret interior welt pocket (perfect for a phone, snacks, or other clandestine treats) and a full lining, it’s guaranteed to be a go-to staple for the cooler months!

Make one in cotton twill with a satin lining for your own girl gang, or try a plaid tweed for the perfect fall layering piece.

I just had to create matching jackets for Susie and I for our own "Charm Ladies" girl gang, out of pink chino twill with a silky hot pink lining. (We share the font and SVG file with you in the pattern instructions, so you can join, too!) And for more everyday wear, I made a gorgeous black-and-white plaid jacket with a purple lining. Now that the weather is turning chillier, I'm wearing it every day!

You'll find the tiled file (for printing at home on A4 or letter size sheets and taping together) and the A0 file (for printing at a copy shop like ThePlottedPattern.com or PDFPlotting.com). Please note that we now have two size blocks, so make sure to download the correct files for the size you're making. If you have any questions about which size to sew, don't forget to read our blog post with all the details!

Don’t forget to watch the companion tutorial video and then share your makes with the hashtags #charmpatterns and #rizzojacket!

xoxo,
Gertie

Hi Gertie and crew, would you need to do anything different to line the jacket with fleece or minky?

Pocket is too small for any iPhone plus size phones.. both in the opening and the depth of the bag… ☹️
