Hello, lovely! I'm so very excited to share with you the final installment in our Fit Clinic series, all about fitting pants! (It's not that scary - I promise!)

In this episode, we cover common pants fitting problems and show you how to correct them on your patterns. Pants can be intimidating, but once you understand the basics and how a pattern block needs to be altered for YOUR body, you'll be sewing and wearing perfectly-fitting pants in no time!

I know this can be a bit intimidating, so be sure to download the attached PDF handout so you can follow the step-by-step checklist the next time you are making a muslin for your pants.

I hope you've loved this year's Fit Clinic series and it has helped you to understand fabric and fit!

xoxo,
Gertie

I really love these clinics. I am just re-starting to sew again. I used to sew way back in the day with my grandmother. Now some 30 years later I am jumping in again…thanks to Gertie. These clinics really help me hone in on those old skills I don’t quiet remember. A million thanks for these.

Great clinic, I’ve always wondered how to address these issues. More importantly, I’ve always wanted to make a pair of super high waisted pants like the ones Prince often wore, and now I know how! I do feel compelled to tell you that the lines you draw in for the seat & belly adjustment run perpendicular, not parallel, to the grain line. Thank you & Merry Christmas xoxoxo
