Hi everyone! I’m so excited to bring you the next installment in our Fit Clinic Series!
In Episode Two, we’re going to build on the techniques we learned in Episode One and continue working our way towards the more advanced stuff, as promised. In today's installment, I talk about best practices for making a muslin, fitting a muslin on yourself, fitting a muslin on a model (we have one of our fave guest models, Susie, with us for this video), and sewing a muslin will be covered. We'll then move on to transferring the adjustments from the muslin on to the pattern itself. You'll see me make adjustments like a swayback, moving a dart, a shoulder adjustment, correcting a gaping armhole with a full bust, and more!
I know this is a lot of info to take in, especially if you're new to pattern adjustments and fitting, so we've also attached a PDF handout, with links and notes from the key concepts in the video.
I hope you love this month's Fit Clinic!
Xoxo,
Gertie
P.S. Please don't share this video link or handout (including posting on public Pinterest boards) so we can continue creating content exclusively for you!
