Ahoy, Charm Scouts! We've created a vintage-inspired nautical blouse that I just know you're going to love. I took inspiration from vintage mariner scout uniforms, with a little sleeve drama reminiscent of 20's middy blouses. It's got shoulder princess seams, a gorgeous nipped waist, and two bow options depending on how extra you're feeling (we're team extra!) If you're not ready to live your best nautical life, you can leave off the collar for a lovely v-neck blouse. And oh, did we mention it's interchangeable with the Liz and Lamour skirts? Yeah, we're keeping you busy this month!

Here's a look at the top options:

And here are the interchangeable dress options. Use the waistline cutting option to turn the top into a bodice!

Wondering about fabrics and supplies? Check out the written instructions at the bottom of this post for links and recommendations. You'll also find the tiled file (for printing at home on A4 or letter size sheets and taping together) and the A0 file (for printing at a copy shop like pdfplotting.com). Please note the new 18-34 size range this month (YAY) and make sure to download the correct files for the size you're making. If you have any questions about the new range, don't forget to read our blog post with all the details!

Check out my video for the Mariner Top here and Melisha's bow tutorial here

We hope you love the #MarinerTop!

xoxo,

Gertie

Hey hun - just fyi, the line drawing for the Back View of the Collarless Mariner top is not correct. You’ve depicted it with just waist darts, but the pattern pieces are actually princess seam. (And it’s beautiful!)

Hi, I have found the front centre and front side pieces don't match between the bottom bust notch and waist notch. They appear to be off by 5/8. Have I done something wrong? Anyone else having this problem? Size 16 B/C cup. Thanks!
