Oh my gosh, I'm so excited to share this video with you! Not only does it show you how to make the fully lined Stanwyck Bodice with my clean finish neckline technique, but I also demonstrate how to sew the pocket stay on the Stanwyck pencil skirt, as well as the back vent and lapped zipper. So many techniques in one video! Please see my separate video for the collar construction. (The spiderweb embellishment video will premiere on Youtube later today--check my Instagram for details!).)

Don't forget to download the pattern and written instructions ($7 tier and above).

I hope you love sewing this dress! Don't forget to use the hashtag #stanwyckdress when sharing your finished projects.

xoxo,

Gertie

Does anyone have any experience with moving the curved dart? I need mine to point more towards the center front and I am dreading the adjustment. 😬

I don't think there is a separate bodice video, but it looks like what she's done so far is just the darts and interfacing. There's a great demonstration of darts on the picnic top video. If you watch that one you might be more confident about how to get to the point she's gotten to on the bodice here. I'm also brand new never sewn a garment, but I'm just watching all the videos all the way through first and I feel more confident every time she goes over a different technique, even if it's in a different video. Love being a charm scout!
