It's time to announce the March live streams! Here's what we'll be doing this month:

*Friday, March 20th at 6 pm EST: Q&A Live Stream with Gertie and Melisha ($3 tier and up)

I'm excited to bring some special guests to the monthly live streams, and what could be more special than having Charm Assistant Designer Melisha as our first guest? We'll be doing an hour long Q&A together. Submit your questions for either or both of us in the comments on this post! The live stream will have a casual, conversational feel so keep that in mind when submitting your questions. (Please save requests for content for polls or our upcoming suggestion box!)

*Saturday, March 28th at 2 pm EST: Makeup Tutorial Live Stream with Gertie ($7 tier and up)

I'm excited to show you my makeup routine! Last month's hair tutorial was so fun. Submit your questions now about products, skincare, anything make-up related!

How to Join the Live Streams

About an hour before the live stream, you will get a post with a YouTube link in it. Click on the video or the link to go to YouTube to view the video live. (Note that YouTube may ask you to "create a channel" to comment; this is just a YouTube account that is apparently required for you to participate in the live chat.) The video will be visible here on Patreon but won't see the live chat taking place on YouTube.

If you can't make the live stream, don't fret! You will be able to watch the playback here anytime.

Can't wait to hang out with you all!

xoxo,

Gertie (and Melisha!)

One more question: I like sewing foam cups inside my dresses so i can wear them without a bra, but they never give me a proper vintage look. Do you know any ways that i can achieve that pointy/bullet look easily (maybe diy cups?), without all the crazy spiral stitching? Thank you so much!

The biggest reason is that you are not wearing a bra. Gertie has talked about it before, but even with her cup bodice styles she still wears a bra and most likely the women did too.... and depending on your preferred era, they had extreme bra shape styles like the bullet. Gertie likes the company What Katie Did, which has bullet bras and the Merry Widow. Those will complete your look!
