Weekly Update - .166f - Sydney BUGFIX - 1/29/22 (Patreon)

This update is the first half of Sydney's encounter. In addition, I went back and made it so that all of Chang's library events are triggerable in the morning as well. This means you'll be able to finish the Assistant's book before dinner if you played your cards right -- but I still have to finish that passage so don't be surprised by a red link there if you do it right now . For Sydney, it's mostly just a set up for her plot-focused stuff in the next update tomorrow, but there is a sex scene for those that previously corrupted her during the thrall ritual.

If you don't want to make a new save, just set $syd_fate to "f" and you'll trigger it that way when you go to the library.

EDIT: The second part of Sydney's encounter is now up. Sorry about the wait, but hopefully you'll see why it took a while. You can ask her a series of questions about various characters, and right now the responses for Barberry, Karen, Lexi, Val, and Jill are finished. I still have a few more red links to take care of tomorrow, and then we'll move on to Lydia's event.

EDIT2: More of Sydney's stuff is up, this time talking about the demons, nuns, and if your intelligence is high enough or you performed the ritual with Sydney -- a question about the visions you've been having of Delia.

EDIT3: The last bit of Sydney's event is complete. Next week we'll get into Lydia's stuff and then hopefully at least start, if not finish, Sofia's as well. Note that like the update the other night, if you already grabbed .166b then you don't have to download it again, you can just grab the separate html file here.  

If you're comfortable editing stuff, I'd recommend setting $bunker_vids to 3 and $suzie_knows to "naomi". This will ensure you can get access to the most lore for now.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1) If you need a clean install, download the .156a ALL FILES pack from this post.  

Step 2) Unzip the all files pack to create your College Daze folder. From now on, you'll extract future updates and place them in this same folder, overwriting the previous content to update it.

Step 3) If necessary, download an update only pack like the one in this post.

Step 4) Unzip the update only pack and copy the contents of it.   

Step 5) Paste these contents in your original 'all files' folder. Your computer will ask if you want to overwrite the existing HTML file. Click yes.    

Step 6) If you did everything right, you should have an HTML file that you click to run the game and a fan-made Images folder that has folders from 'aug02' to '180'. If you find an 'Images' folder inside your 'Images' folder, that means you pasted it incorrectly and need to re-copy and paste stuff.     

Step 7) When you run the game, the images and text should display as normal. If they don't, send me a message and we can try to figure this out further.
