Weekly Writing Update - 3/2/20 (Patreon)

So a while back, Sincere K suggested that I should do bi-weekly updates so that you guys could get content quicker instead of having to wait until the end of the month. At first I was resistant to the idea, just because I didn't want to create additional deadlines for content, but I think I came up with a pretty good compromise. 

After releasing the mini-updates from February (which work is still continuing on), I found it wasn't that hard to release those mini-updates without interrupting the flow of the overall in-game day. So I'm going to be making a little change for these weekly writing updates moving forward. 

I'm still going to post outlines of content and talk about any big quality of life changes, just as I did before, but now every Monday I'm going to release a genuine sneak peek of upcoming content in the form of whatever I've gotten done up until that given Monday. 

Now, I already posted everything last night, so today was just a bug fix that I edited into the .039 post (now .039b). But moving forward, you'll get "Update Only" files on Monday that offer a peek at everything that's been done so far. End-of-month releases will still incorporate all of these mini-files and package them together, so if you're someone who likes to watch a movie all at once, instead of random five-minute scenes, I've got you covered too.

The other caveat to all of this is that I'm not making any promises about what will be in these Monday updates. Some might not have much, some might have a lot. I'm still writing when I get time, so I can't promise "one full day every week!" or anything like that. It's just going to be whatever I have available at the time until the end of the month, when I should have everything I've outlined up until that point. 

With that in mind, I should also talk about the in-game Thursday/Friday, which I'm still working on. The next release for that stuff will be on March 6th. I know there are some scene requests that I had slotted for the Friday of that release, and just know that I haven't forgotten about you, all of that stuff will absolutely make it in if it hasn't yet, though I can't promise it'll be on the 6th (I'll be working hard over the weekend again to continue playing catch-up with anything still missing by the 6th). 

The last thing for me to mention is that I've finally got Discord up. I've never been the admin for a server, so if I messed something up, feel free to let me know. Otherwise, feel free to talk about character theories, features you'd like to see, or report bugs. If you don't like Discord and just want to keep everything on Patreon, that's fine too. You can always message me here or leave a comment, I check everything.
