Im sure 90% of the fanbase didn’t expect the giants to appear. In the poll too i never seen anyone mention it. Crazy man. Makes sense though for them to appear if u ask me, since elbaf is most probably next

That 1st comment that’s on the poll said something that truly went over a lot of our heads that the government pretty much announced that straw hat is under siege at egg head and that’s how the giants came about

I still can't believe I didn't think of the Giant Pirates. I literally thought it might have been the Big Mom Pirates for the sole reason that it could segway into Elbaf, yet I didn't even consider the obvious option of Dorry and Broggy.

I went with "Hajrudin and some other giants" plus "a giant escort to Elbaf" when making a guess - I'd let that count since maybe Hajrudin is also there but at least giants were correct overall. Anyways - absolutely great chapter!

I am not too worried about Vegapunk being dead for real. In the early Egghead chapters, we learned that they can grow organs there. And Oda loves to keep is characters alive.

Awesome reaction!! Btw Khan if you go back to the Big Mom flashback (when she was a kid in Elbaf), you can actually see that the giants were having a traditional festival celebrating the rebirth of the Sun (basically Winter Solstice). They would fast for a number of days until the day of festival to show their appreciation to the return of the Sun. So they could potentially have some connection or know something about Nika, since they kind of worshiped it as a God.

@Uzumaki Khan - The highlight for many here would probably be You, in the Youtube Reverie. With all the youtubers together and maybe even Matt Owens, the producer of the OP Live Action. He's been in there twice now, i think. :D But to stay away from all of that is of course good too! :)

There are 7 vegapunks too, so even if the Stella dies, technically 5 of the others are still alive. But yeah it would be sad to see him go this early especially since the ancient robot just woke up too.

I hope the other strawhats including Robin learn about Nika / Joyboy and Luffy being the same in the next chapter. It feels a bit unfair that Robin has been on this journey the longest about the void century and joyboy but she's the last one to find out lol

There are anime and manga, and then there's One Piece. This series is on a league on its own. Also i never thought about Bonney's power getting stronger after seeing Luffy as Nika. That's a genius thought.

About whether or not Kuma was aware that Nika is there: That little mark drawn over his head would be the same as like quickly turning your head when you hear a sound so its possible he is aware or will be soon.

The Giants Have Some Sort Of Culture Surrounding The Sun Remember From Big Mom's Flashback. I Wouldn't Be Surprised If Instead Of Shanks Telling The Giants About The Sun God Its The Other Way Around.

I think Sanji blocked one bolt of light with his foot (using haki) but he can't stop them all so he gets hit with other light bolts and the rest go past him and hit Kuma and others. I think he at least kicked the one which was gonna hit Bonney to save her.

Also Khan, I think Oda was setting something up for Kuma during this arc. If you think about the beginning of egghead, Vegapunk talks about being unable to have full control of the cyborg's instincts and biological parts and he called it mysterious or something. Then in the middle of the arc we see Hancock's pacifista (seraphim) show emotions with Luffy and if I remember something with Jinbei's seraphim too. Then we see Kuma come flying to help Bonney with this same insinct mystery. So my point is, It's possible that Kuma is going to have a reaction to Nika even though he's a cyborg now. And Oda was building that up for a while. At least something else is gonna happen soon with Kuma's instincts.

-BROGGY & DORRY: They are the Kyohei pirates who had been missing and dissolved for a century, remember that Haijrudin said in Dressrosa that he wanted to unify the giants again into a pirate band and be the strongest band at Luffy's service. -They where fighting for 100 years in little garden thats why no one know about them. -Title of chap 116 was "BIG or GIANTS" was their first appearance of BROGY & DORRY if i'm not wrong, and now chap 1106 title is "ON UR SIDE ". This leaves us "The Giants on your side". -In Big Mom's flashback we get a small mention of the SUN GOD, so between that and the fact that Shanks was in Elbaf, we already know that either Shanks told him or that the giants have a great connection with the sun god, although already we know they celebrate the Winter Solstice Festival which is held every year to celebrate “the death and rebirth of the sun”. -And for those who say that they are part of shanks crew it was said that they are allies not members of his crew.

I had this exact theory! But the overall point of my theory is different. I think everything you brought up may also allude to the Seraphim, or at least some of them, defecting because of Nika
