From this flashback we know why Kuma said to the Straw Hats "if you could go on a trip, where would you like to go?" Before he separated them pre-timeskip. It was all a reference to Bonney. Now we just need to know why she wears lipstick and I think Bonney back story is mostly covered !! I guess Kuma also still needs the mission to protect sunny programmed into him. I love this flashback but can't wait for more Nika stuff with Luffy

I wonder if Oda got the letter idea from The Notebook film. Noah sends Allie love letters everyday for 1 year but her mother intercepts and hides them all until he eventually gives up because she never replies. One day she finds all the letters stashed in a draw.

At least Bonney saw this entire flashback in Kuma's memories at the lab, so she now knows about all the letters he sent and what he wrote in them. Better late than never.

Yh that was in the present, but at the time in the flashback she hasn’t. So at the time of the flashback she never knew the kuma was giving the letters, which makes if incredibly sad. Its not like what happened in the flashback never happened.

I think Dragon's quote is because he doesn't want the government knowing he has a child in the east blue...so basically they can't talk about it at all. He kept Luffy a secret even from Ivankov.

The distorted Future ability, to me, allows her to transform her body and utilize the Buccaneer bloodline. Her fist and arm look more like Kuma's arms and I don't see her somehow able to turn her body into rubber like that. The Distorted Future is what she would look like if she was really Kuma's daughter with the Buccaneer bloodline, in my opinion.

It could be Kuma losing his will BUT at the same time i believe why Kuma didn't tell Dragon about his daughter/his past and kept his mouth shut after is cause of Dragon himself. He told him that a child is a parents weakspot so he took that to heart, especially after seeing how fine Luffy was doing by himself.

I think Bonney's devil fruit is not only limited to the future and the past but also different timelines meaning the distorted future is a different timeline where she acquired Nika's abilities.

Finally had the time to watch all three chapter reactions in a row. First off - wishing you and your Familiy all the best from the bottom of my heart. YOOO I just noticed that the flashback for this chapter was from 3 years ago which means it was Pretimeskib for the straw hat and Vagapunk told Kuma he would have 1 more year to lose his free will, hence why Kuma was able to help the strawhat in sabaody.

I think there was a mistranslation with the dragon and Kuma dialog. In the arabic and op scans it implied that dragon was watching and following luffy from a far and Kuma was wondering why. What tcb implied don't make sense at all. I'll have to wait for viz like usual.

W Khan for 100% correctly understanding what Dragon meant lol. It's obvious Dragon would love to stay and be with his child, but he's dedicated his life to this mission of his and the truth about him having a son would put Luffy's life in danger, just how Ace was in danger when it was found out he was Roger's son. They would 100% go after Luffy if they knew so Dragon has to take the utmost precautions to ensure as little ppl know about this. And since Dragon can't be seen with Luffy, he at least does check up on him from afar, when he has the time. He loves Luffy, but he's trying to literally save the world from this evil and this takes all of his time, energy, and focus. Years upon years building up towards tearing down the WG where the whole world can be free. I commend Dragon 🫡

We did get to see Bonney react! In Ch 1090 pg 10, a day has passed since she saw the memories and luffy says "I guess crying all night helped you feel better" so it definitely hurt her
