"Distorted future" is a feat by Bonney where she turns into a Buccaneer, right? It's distorted because its a future where Kuma is her dad! I also think Kuma made a deal with Vegapunk to cure Bonney by letting him run tests on him. The only cure? A devil fruit whos ability would passively keep her the same age and not progress the disease.

Ah okay gotcha, Oda has been kind of slick about her age, giving slight hints here and there in the past. Kuma must have had some kind of agreement for Bonney's protection because Akainu didn't give her the Ace treatment when Blackbeard tied her up for him after Marineford lol

Yoo khan hopefully we get dragon or luffy to save kuma in chapter 1100. If u didnt know, in chapter 100 was when dragon first appeared so many people are speculating he’ll show up in chap 1100 exactly after 1000 chapters to do something big

Khan is such a big hearted dude, I love him so much. The reason he always gets worked up over these flashbacks is how empathetic he is.

One theory I have is that this sapphire scale disease is an STD which also is hereditary that affects most if not all celestial dragons and their blood line. The source could be one of the multiple cited "great crimes" against them, meaning that someone in the past may have cursed them with this fabricated disease in order to end them from ever reproducing. Notably Nefertari D. Lili if she's not Imu and others. However, someone managed to render that curse useless by inventing a UV blocking suit with the glass sphere that they can wear from birth and stop the disease from really progressing at all since they stop it from the very start of their life. This means that this disease is actually to their benefit now because any victims/loose ends that they can't manage to end off themselves in their savagery of lust will die off way sooner than normal without them having to do anything. It's become their own safety policy and so they haven't asked vegapunk to cure it the way he did with Bonney. Just a thought fam.

I think it's Saturn yes, I've read something about his name in Japanese that he's related to Sapphire in some sort of way.. I think the goresi are demons and every woman they sleep with they die with that disease so they don't last and tell everyone what happened to them even if they were pregnant.. bonney survived in some kind of way bcs of her fruit

I hope Kuma gets the happiness he more than deserves at the end of Egghead. Bonney gets her daddy back and they go stay at Kamabakka with Iva-chan and Dragon.

My theory here is that after the flashback is finished, Kuma is currently heading towards the Celestial Dragon that is Bonney's real dad in order to attack him but the holy knights will stop him just in time and he will have a sad death. This is why Oda showed Kuma running past Akainu and the timing with this flash back. Anyway whatever happens It's gonna be crazy and chapter 1100 soon which is also gonna be huge as usual.

Don't forget this flash back is everything that Bonney saw in Kuma's memories at Vegapunks lab too. And she stabbed Saturn saying he killed Kuma.... Maybe Saturn did something to Kuma in order to save Bonney. Even though yes, vegapunk did the cyborg changes... Saturn did something before that and perhaps vegapunk actually saved Kuma by delaying his "death"
