For me, this confirms that Vivi will join the strawhats again and go to Laugh Tale together so she can see the truth of her ancestor Lili. Actually Vivi has always been officially in the crew, so here she will board the ship again finally. There will be some way for Vivi and Wapol to meet the strawhats after EggHead arc

Not sure if you noticed Khan but a lot of have people pointed out that the five elders seem to have the same smokey "ring" type design on their backs in their transformed states that we have seen from confirmed Awakened Zoan users like Luffy and Lucci. It would make sense if the five elders are all awakened. Just imagine if they are as old as Imu. They would have totally mastered their powers. Also the odds are looking worse for the Strawhats after this chapter. They are facing an entire navy fleet, Kizaru, Saturn and possibly also the Seraphims on top of that.

Just think about this... 20 years ago when cobra was researching the poneglyphs and asked Robin what they mean, he was researching about Lili then. And then Vivi says farewell to the strawhats with "some day when we meet again and I can join you, will you still call me your nakama?" It was all preparation for this arc 20 years later. The manga is written in a way that feels like its own poneglyph of the future. It's insane how everything is connected in the story from Chapter 1 to now

There's a big misconception about observation haki in which it's supposedly on at all time. Sometime they have it on sometime not. Like when caribou was spying on the straw hat in wano and learned about pluton and nobody bat an eye. Afterward he was on their ship for a while till they reached egg head and still they couldn't sense him.

Only logical reason I can think of about the observation haki is that you need a calm mind to sense presence, could be completely wrong I'm just spit-balling. Whole situation had everyone on edge in that room

This has to be one of the best chapters of the year! I am glad that we finally see Imu and The Gorosei are indeed fighters! Now Saturn is coming to Egghead! We’re going to end up getting: Luffy vs Saturn Zoro vs Kizaru Best part, NO BREAK!! So another chapter on Wednesday! Amazing time as a One Piece fan!

Observation haki is not on all the time, plus Imu was getting emotional and that affects the use of observation haki so sabo was no detected. Regarding wapol they did notice him, but he was in an opened area I can’t see them risk going out in open area where all the kings are, if he was slow they would have found a way to assassinate him after.

Not exactly, future sight isnt on all the time and has to be activated but for regular observation, it usually is passively on(or when oda feels like it really) but we've seen sleeping characters use observation or people using it passively.

Another great reaction! I would definitely take Vivi over Yamato, but they are both great. Now that your caught up, you might as well just looks stuff up on the wiki if your not sure if it’s been said. Nothing you can get spoiled on at this point and you can usually find the info pretty quick.

The gorosei and imu are based of the story "where the wild things are" (lookwise that is). About Observation Haki: you actually have to turn it on, here it seems that the Five Elders didn't have it on during the speech with Cobra. But the moment after Sabo came in they actually activated it hence why one of them noticed Wapol peeking instead of before. In most cases it's only activated during fights so it actually makes sense here.

Luffy is a yonko and whilst in battle didn’t sense that Lucci was going to stab Sentonmaru. Just like future sight observation haki must be tapped into. Haki exhaust energy. If it was in constant use that wouldn’t make sense. Armament must be activated. Conquerors must be activated. Observation too. Only time where it may naturally do so is if you’re attacked you may naturally sense it coming and dodge.

Obvs haki isn't passive. They need to activate it, since they were having a conversation, they were distracted. Same as how Katakuri was distracted when eating doughnuts in his shrine and didn't notice Luffy coming back. I think they activated it before they noticed Wapol cuz Wapol didn't make a noise at all, I saw no sound effects

Definitely seems like it. I love OP for extremely whacky characters like him (buggy, usopp, etc.) but their actions always have real consequences: Usopp trying to stall enel, buggy messing around at marineford, so wapol for sure will not have an easy way out of the biggest fortress of the WG, no?

It's also not a given that if you're strong, your observation Haki is good, and it's can be super specific. Like Zoro, as strong as he is, he is weakest in observation Haki compared to Luffy and Sanji. Meanwhile, Sanji went from one area of the punk hazard lab to an entire different building just because his obv Haki is always on when it comes to women lol. People (not you Khan, in general tho) like to say Obv Haki is inconsistent, but I think the opposite, it's really well thought out
