Thorfinn's character growth is one of the best I've ever seen, just out of this world man

Just finished watching the episode, man watching every episode with you weekly is a train of emotions and by god hope you carry on the manga afterwards because i want to read it so badly too, waiting years for another season, even with how amazing it is would just be pain.

Yh cant agree more, if the wait is the same like season 2 was, it be a disaster. Imagine waiting 5 years to see this story continue, cant be me man. Manga seems most likely, lets be honest, we not going to get any s3 news within the year. Hope it does badly but we both know its just too good to be true. So manga it is then. Lets see the coming months if there is any news

The author of Vinland is called is Makoto Yukimura. Absolute legend. He's actually a bit different from other mangaka cuz he is personally active on Twitter and interacts with fans even from the west. I follow his account. He's a great person. One of his tweets "Thank you for all the messages from all over the world. I'm not very good at English, but the Google translation feature helps me. Imo I think the anime is too good. Such as them extended Gardar death and made it more impactful. Not to mention the voice acting, music, art is top tier. I think you should wait

I think Wit had quite a few problems that it took Vinland too long but now that Mappa is literally the biggest studio in Japan and owns Vinland. The anime will come quicker. Oh yeah it was COVID too during Vinland s2 production

Mappa hinted at season 3 in their new trailer yesterday. Covid delayed everything the wait for s3 shouldn't be too long compared to s2. Even with covid delay its only been 3 years between s1 and 2

Thorfinn is one of the best anime character ever created imo. His character development is unmatched

in my opinion you should continue with the manga, even if a third season is announced, waiting for so long will make the passion cold over time, vinland has as its main focus a story full of emotions and lessons that will fall into oblivion for those that just watch the anime over time. reading is an eternal learning process, no one forgets a story they've already read and I love this story so much that I don't want it to be forgotten

I don't know why, but I am not enjoying vinland as much as everyone else, I enjoyed the first season much more.

They changed a lot of things especially the ending, you should read chapter manga chapter 92-93 for this episode

I don't know maybe It is me, but watching this Viking anime, I didn't expect to get into this much of talking and sentiments, with this kind of anime I expected wars and killing, I don't say that It didn't came, but It took too long for me.

i understand what u mean. The storytelling and character development beats fighting and wars any day of the week for me personally. Don't get me wrong, i love the fighting and war aspect in vinland but even so its about the story and the characters that make me want to watch certain animes. I respect your opinion tho.

Such a good series, people putting this series down need to read more and learn how to understand the masterful storytelling that is being displayed. Khan, love the reactions and post anime commentary, keep it up.

Rewatching vinland saga s1 up to ep 10 so far. One thing that's really caught my eye is the similarities of how Thors and The Thorfinn of s2 act. Its like Thorfinn is trying to completely follow in his dads way of living and that is incredible because When Thors saved the slave at the start of s1 and before the slave died he said that poem telling him about the land of vinland. Thorfinn did the same just before arnheid died. Just a couple episodes of seeing Thors again and I honestly think he's top 3 characters of this series because of his way of living is completely different to that of the men of war and the fact that he's the strongest aswell yet he is such a peaceful person you gotta love this character. When Thors got ambushed by askelaads crew, 28 were injured by Thors however he did not kill one person. He even saved someone he threw off board into the water by throwing them a wooden plank to keep them from drowning. And the fact that thorfinn seems to follow in his footsteps in s2 is just so good to see. The development of his character is insane. I'm starting to rlly understand how good this anime actually is.
