Please don’t go for the colored manga like some are suggesting here. Anything beyond chapter 1004 is fan colored and therefore not Oda’s art. Sometimes the fan coloring is decent but other moments it ruins the panels. Black and white should be fine.

I completely understand going ahead with the manga, your YouTube vid explains it well. It is worth reading to save your enjoyment of the series, your enjoyment, first time reactions and love for the series is what makes your reactions so entertaining. Without those things it wouldn't be the same. <3
