reading these comments just shows me how self-centered some of the community are... You would rather khan do anime only but you yourself read manga and anime and dont have to worry about spoilers? this isnt just about us, its about his enjoyment of the anime.

As someone that started in the anime, my first few chapters transitioning into the manga was similar to you thinking about how it would have been in the anime. But once I caught up and got used to it, the weekly chapter experience has been greater than the weekly anime experience especially with the slower pacing and low content adaptation each episode. But I will always have a special place in my heart for the anime and some scenes will always hit harder in the anime. I love reading the newest chapters in the manga and still cherish the anime for certain scenes and moments that I want to see get animated. You can always enjoy both, I don't know why it gotta be one or the other for some people.

exactly this, in terms of avoiding spoilers and getting the most enjoyment out of narrative points and reveals, manga is the way. But no one saying he can't go back after episodes have piled up and react to them, see what they did differently. Maybe take something different from it than initial viewing.

You know when you say, where does Luffy get the willpower, remember back to the first few chapters (I guess episode 1). He told Coby, "I want to be King of the Pirates, I came to that decision, it's what I want to do. If I die trying to do that, that's alright with me!" That's the mindset of the man who will become the Pirate King.

100% agree. I started with the manga in 2012, but when I got to halfway through Dressrosa, I stopped because College was getting intense. In 2018, I decided to watch the anime, and i was an anime hater at the time, but I gave it a shot and fell in love al over again. When I got tonthe Reverie, I switched back to the manga cause I couldn't wait anymore and it was seamless. From that moment on, I decided I would always read the manga weekly and watch the anime weekly, that way I can experience the new, and relive some of the best moments at the same time. Double the amount of one piece each week! Incredible!

This was an inevitability. Personally I would've preferred it to be after Wano (since he's already spoiled on this arc) but I'm glad he's finally making the decision. If we existed in a world with no spoilers then sure, I'd prefer Khan to be anime only, but that's unfortunately not the case. The worst thing that can happen is for Khan to continued getting spoiled.. and the spoilers going forward are going to be deadly given we're headed to the end game.
