This is what you call Warriorness - Khan

What a masterpiece of an episode, of an anime overall. Bleach deserves its flowers and then some!! Also, no hat Khan goes HARD! <3 love fam. Stay blessed everyone

Akimitzu

MODS - if you havent, Please rejoice in informing Khan that episodes 12+13 will be aired together for a 1 hour special. This is the greatest backstory in all of bleach. T_T happy tears

Wild

Can we stop this clown show and start watching real anime like rick and morty?

ladrón

bro, best episode...

Smilee996

I was surprised why no explanation was given of her bankai , not sure if that was the case in the manga but it looked like some type of blood that melts?

PieRat

Goated episode, goated reaction.

"I've been asleep this whole time. I've been playing out our exchange in my dreams" I think in all of kenpachi's battles he was trying to recreate in his mind the one true battle he had with unohana and it was like a dream. The skull thing means like he is finally waking up and his dream takes phycical form.He gets reborn.

The blood from her Bankai doesn't melt(that was just Kenpachi's mental image of the battle), it heals(just like her Shikai), and she can use it for offensive and defensive techniques. If you rewatch the fight she kills him several times and is constantly healing him and herself once she goes into Bankai. Like she hinted before she activated it, the reason she learned to heal herself was to fight forever, her Bankai is the literal manifestation of that.

Florin

The manga was pretty much the same. Also, it's not blood, it's acid. Her shikai's power was the creature that heals with its stomach acid, so her bankai's power must also be acid. She uses it to melt and heal, which is what she also did to Kenpachi (not exactly shown in the anime)

Florin

It's acid, because that's the shikai's power as well. And it should also melt (offense) aside from healing (defense)

iba

No lol, it definitely melted kenpachi and she even melted herself. The part where they are both melted to the bone was indication of her melting acidic blood.

amazing reaction

I don't think her bankai melts and heals at the same time. She chose to learn healing arts but she didn't choose her bankai power cuz you can't choose what ur bankai does. So her bankai is like a blood domain with acid like property to the blood. But her healing art is separate from the bankai which she uses to prolong battles. Her healing is too good cuz she could reattach hiyori that was split in two.

PEAK MOTHER FKIN FICTION!

You guys must be kidding me, you're watching bleach and you don't understand symbolism?

Anonymous

Double chin, visual metaphors/creative liberties are common in bleach. However the anime adaptation of this fight further extended on the visuals to help analyse what's really going on. Some of you mfers calling it an illusion or symbolism..yikes

Akimitzu

Hey Mods, I know this is random, but can you ask Khan to watch Bleach Episode 239, (Hitsugayas Backstory/Meeting His Zanpakuto for the first time) its an amazing quick, cannon piece of information I think he'd really enjoy
