I like the fact that Luffy ate the devil fruit unconsciously because he was angry he didnt have any clue what it was.... Luffy takes no blame in that and thats great. It was out of greed. :D

All that was said was he was on the ship that the fruit was on and when Shanks stole it they imprisoned him for letting it go. No answer there lol, just backstory on a character. Y'all OP super-fans act like referring to past things is some new ish.

This is not even "real shonen" this is MANY LEVELS above it, it is peak fiction. The depth of the story, the connections and callbacks, the long term questions being answered, the mystery that works your mind, the mature themes absolutely overshadow almost all other shonen. The other fans of shonen can stick to their cool fights or flashy powers, well they just have that but OP has that and so much more. This is the real man's story. Number 1 for a reason, always on top
