This is why Oda is the goat! Beautiful execution on the death scene with kinemon. I definitely cried during this. During this Arc, it all builds up towards kinemon and his love for not only Wano, but Momonosuke-sama. This death was needed for sure and i'm glad Oda went with it. All the haters who say important characters don't die in one piece, WHERE YOU AT?!? Oda ain't messing about in this arc. Let the hype continue!

I especially liked when Kinemon said "You must keep living." while looking directly at the viewer and breaking the 4th wall. That was genius level directing putting the emphasis on us, the viewer, so we have to endure longer to finally see the conclusion of this arc. All the hardships we've faced, all the tears we've shed, all the dreams we've started to dream. Everything is coming into full fruition and Kinemon sacrificed himself not only for Momonosuke nor for Wano. He also did it for all of us One Piece fans, and I find that incredibly beautiful.

Yooo, couldn't have said it better myself. I put this death up with Whitebeard and Ace. I love oda so much! Is this man even human? how does he write such perfection in every chapter? I love the extra bits Toei added in as well. Can't wait for the next episode!
