btw if you have issues with the names, rather than reading them, try listening to the character saying it and repeat after the voice actor.

Your subs don't separate the words for zanpakuto's. Main one you should know is Getsuga Tenshou which is Ichigo's slash attack. Aizen's zanpakuto when written properly is Kyōka Suigetsu - your subs groups both words together. You will remember the names anyway with time it's your first time hearing them.

In case you didn't understand Aizen, that fake body he was holding was literally his sword hypnotizing every person in the 13 court. Because he showed them his zanpakuto wayy before probably before the story even began.

from being a standalone arc marineford was alright, what made it great was the build up before it. soul society is insane in the fact that its the opening arc

Aizen's sword is pronounced key - yo - ka suigetsu ( like the character from Naruto) also 1 other thing important thing the next arc is 100% filler it has nothing to do with anything in the manga its not even anime canon where they give you extra information on things, but during the next canon arc they CONTINUOUSLY reference the arc and even bring in FILLER characters to manga moments almost to the point where you feel like you were supposed to watch the last arc it's extremely annoying as I'm rewatching it right now but I just thought I would give you a heads up incase your confused when your watching those episodes, one other thing to take note of is that there are random filler arcs in the middle of the arc like in Naruto, if you dont see this message I'll probaby repost the important parts in the next reaction

Bleach was the first real anime I was into - and Aizen is pretty awesome his power is actually kinda ridiculous - the reaction was amazing. Luckily we are in the best parts of the show still.

As mentioned above, the next arc is filler but it still brings a few filler characters into the canon episodes. Don't worry about that, they are of no importance and after a handful of episodes they disappear, never to be talked about or referenced ever again.
