Also I believe Run With The Wind was adapted from a light novel, and everything was adapted in one season so there won't be any season 2.

The mountains of Hakone are? The steeeepest in the world!! Since you were wondering about the article/interview with Kakeru: his old school kept the whole story under wraps and never amde it public, but his old coach saw him qualifying with Kansei and came out of the woods to publicy shame him, that's why Kakerus school was also angry and the coach had to apologize/put a good word in for him. Loving these reactions, enjoy the Hakone race!

The reason the designs look similar is because the character designer for Run With the Run did a lot of directing work in Haikyu! and definitely got some inspiration from that series designs!
