Ashita no Joe is not just considered a classic but a national treasure in Japan that came out in the 70s. Japan treats it like everyone's watched Joe, so many people won't consider that as a spoiler. Of course they did not think about us foreigners abroad. Feel bad for anyone who got spoiled this way.

yea exactly. you can find this particular scene from AnJ being referenced in god knows how many other shows. I know I can think of at least a handful I've seen/read.

Just finished the reactions, was superb man. And since you ask and probably forgot: You can watch the opening and the ending they are safe for you already. Episode 12/13 the new Opening and Ending start, those are also spoiler free for you so you can always watch both from this point on forward

I wouldn't worry too much about that spoiler it's inevitable. A lot of other shows reference it, it's as easy to get spoiled on that as Goku turning into a super Saiyan is lol
